Battler took over an hour to get back to the guest house, I propose that he was trying to look for Jessica so as to get her to come back with the cousins but never found her, that is more than enough time for Hideyoshi to go to the study and kill everyone. After killing everyone he took Genji's key and went back to The confrence. That was when Battler came in and found them sleeping and decided to sleep himself. After The conference Hideyoshi was sure that Eva was asleep he made his way to the guest house, placed the key in his pocket so as to frame him, and went back to sleep himself allowing everything to play out. Hideyoshi was with Eva the whole night! The conference had ended before the time of the first twilight!

I propose the multiple culprit theory Hideyoshi and George are the murderers and Eva is the accomplice.

Yamon he means that the victims went to the study individually, as opposed to in a group, not that they were killed individually.

I used all of them except Lambda and Bern since we got enough people for 6 witches.

Anyone without an alibi could have done the murders, moved the bodies in the Study, used the key from Genji to lock the door, and then sneak the key into Battler's pocket. The door to the study has an auto-lock. The victims were not moved! I refuse to rebut the rest for now. Since the Study has an auto-lock why would Battler bother to take the key in the first place seeing as it places the most suspicion on him. Of course! Genji's key is the only key to the study!
If Battler were the culprit why would he deliberately take the key from Genji in the first place?
I propose that the culprit placed the key on his person while he was sleeping seeing as this would attract suspicion upon him and not on themselves.

Confirm definition, alibi. An alibi is a confirmable story that shows that someone could not have committed a crime. As the master of this game, I am guaranteeing their alibis myself.Eva was also present in the study and is an accomplice to murder It has already been stated that both have alibis for the first twilight.Hideyoshi and Eva have alibis for the first twilight! Eva's alibi violates Knox's 2nd! I guarantee it myself and I, as the Game Master, can make these claims as I made the game and know it already!

Let it be known that the moot of this case is not a matter of disproving Battler's involvement with murders but simply that he was not the body that committed the murders!
Therefore we can state that Battler Ushiromiya is an accomplice that can not commit murder! The true killer of the first victims was separate from Battler and was in bed before Battler was, they did not get into bed at the same time.

Any time AFTER Battler fell asleep or in between the time that he left the cousin's room and returned. It's most likely that it was after, that way it's possible for us to remove suspicion of Battler even being an accomplice by having him asleep during the murders. That way the study key can be placed on his jacket in order to have him incriminated! If Battler IS an accomplice, then we don't even need to take his alibi into account!

Erika nods and turns to face the group. "It was after he escorted me back to the mansion. I went to the study to find something else to use to disprove magic to her when I saw a servant enter the study. I called out to him before the door closed and he let me enter. We weren't alone in there. As I was talking to everyone, that's when it happened....He had grabbed a gun from the case and I heard a loud crack as my vision went black.
Erika never said how much time she spent talking to the others. So it is possible for the murders to have occurred after Battler fell asleep.
