GAME 10 END - GM VICTORY
Ange protested against the Cathedral's joyous laughter."For you fantastical beasts, you foul witches and vile demons; I only have one thing to say to you all:
Prepare to die."
But she was laughed away.
The tenth game became eleventh became twelfth, became a thousand. Generations passed within the Catbox, yet not a second went by outside of it. All possibilities existed at once, and yet did not exist at all.
While the denizens of the Golden Land toyed with their resurrection and the spirits of those that refused to let it exist, Ange lived in a perpetual Purgatory. It certainly wasn't Heaven. No, it was Hell.
The butterflies that glistened around, bringing both death and life, were to her, not magical, but clouds of Iron Sulfide - Fool's Gold.
Ange spoke up again, the first time in a thousand years, as if only a second went by since the last time:
This is the end, I guarantee it.

October 5th 1986 - Rokkenjima
The Ushiromiya family entered plummeted into the story in the midst of their annual family conference. The night earlier, a threatening letter was received by the youngest on the island, Maria Ushiromiya, daughter of Rosa. The rest of the family, with the exception of Kinzo, bore witness to it - a letter given to her by a mysterious 19th person:
The Epitaph in question, the one found underneath a painted portrait of this supposed "Alchemic Adviser" of course, went as follows:
I long to return
To where we began
A tale as simple and clean,
As the love you gave to me
And enjoyed and savoured
The key you seek lies in the title of our first of many grand adventures
The one who obtains the key must then travel to the Golden Land in accordance with these rules
On the first twilight, offer the six chosen by the key as sacrifices.
On the second twilight, those who remain shall tear apart the two who are close.
On the third twilight, those who remain shall praise my noble name.
On the fourth twilight, gouge the head and kill.
On the fifth twilight, gouge the chest and kill.
On the sixth twilight, gouge the belly and kill.
On the seventh twilight, gouge the knee and kill.
On the eighth twilight, gouge the leg and kill.
On the ninth twilight, the witch shall revive, and none shall be left alive.
On the tenth twilight, the journey shall end, and you shall reach the capital where the gold dwells
The witch will praise the wise, and should bestow four treasures.
One shall be, all the gold from the Golden Land.
One shall be, the resurrection of the souls of all the dead.
One shall be, even the resurrection of the lost love.
One shall be, to put the witch to sleep for all time.
Sleep peacefully, my most beloved witch, Beatrice.
But letters and epitaphs were not the concern of either the family nor the servants when they woke up.
No, instead they were concerned with the Garden Shed adorned with a vicious red pentacle and locked tightly. When opened with Kanon's master key and inspected by Genji, Eva, Kanon, and Nanjo, their concern turned into horror to discover six brutally butchered sacrifices.
Krauss, Natsuhi, Jessica, Hideyoshi, and Kumasawa
Their faces plowed off, and their bodies tossed aside like second-rate costumes from a third-rate play.
It did not take long for the rest of the family to suspect something, charge through, and be stopped in their tracks by the disgusted and terrified look on the faces of Eva and the servants that attended the scene.
Members of the Ushiromiya Family, Welcome to Rokkenjima Island
My name is Beatrice, and I serve Kinzo as the alchemic advisor to this family. This service has continued for many years in accordance with our contract. But today, Kinzo has announced that our contract is to be terminated. Therefore, I ask you to accept my resignation as the family's alchemic advisor. And so, at this point, I must explain a certain portion of this contract to all present.
I, Beatrice, lent Kinzo a great quantity of gold under certain conditions. One is that all of the gold must be returned at the time of the contract's termination. Another condition is that I will receive everything there is to the Ushiromiya family as interest. However, Kinzo added a special clause in order to give all of you a chance to retain your wealth and honour. Only upon the fulfilment of that clause will I forever lose my right to collect the gold and interest.

Special clause:
If anyone should discover the hidden gold noted in this contract, Beatrice must abandon all of the aforementioned rights. In other words, if any one of you is able to satisfy this special clause, I will return everything including that which has already been collected. Furthermore, I have taken possession of the Ring of The Ushiromiya Family Head, which symbolizes that the inheritance of the Ushiromiya family has been passed on to another. Please confirm this for yourselves by observing the wax seal. The hiding place for the gold is displayed on the epitaph. Anyone has the right to discover it. If you can reveal the place where the gold is hidden, I shall return everything. So tonight, please enjoy your battle of wits with Kinzo to the fullest. I sincerely pray this night will turn out to bee both intellectual and elegant. From the Golden Witch, Beatrice.
