Ahem. An accomplice is dead. - Eva accounted for all of the pieces, except for GOLDSMITH and Shannon in the waiting room, both alive and dead. Shannon was accounted for in the kitchen with the rest of the group. - In other words, the cousins were the only victims of the first twilights. - Therefore, one of them was an accomplice! - All of the cousins - that is to say, Battler, George, Jessica, and Maria - are truly dead. - Eva was not the first to solve the epitaph. - The cousins were poisoned. The slit throats were to obscure the cause of death. - Genji lied. He still has the key and was ordered to lie about it. - Alternatively, the culprit now holds the key to the study. The only victims of the first twilight were the four found in the waiting room.
One of the victims was an accomplice.
No one is faking death.
Eva is the first player to solve the epitaph, however, she is not the first piece.
The victims died from having their throats slit.
Genji does not have the Study key.

The accomplice knew the culprit was going to kill their cousins. The accomplice knew the culprit was going to kill them.

The door was locked from the inside. There was no one hiding in the room. When the door was locked, there was no one alive inside the room.

- There are other accomplices alive now. - As Eva, the detective, observed both Kanon and Shannon at the same time, Yasu is not in play. - Shannon is an accomplice. She cleaned anything that could have had traces of the murders. - Kumasawa was present for the murders. - Nanjo confirmed the cousins died within the past half hour, but that doesn't mean that they happened while Kumasawa was running down the stairs to tell the family. - Nanjo and Shannon were the only pieces absent from the dining hall when Kumasawa came down from the waiting room. - Kumasawa is an accomplice.

Other accomplices are still alive.
The detective observed both Shannon and Kanon, therefore, Yasu is not in play. Now now, obviously I, Kinzo Ushiromiya was not in the dining hall, and neither were my grandchildren when Kumasawa arrived downstairs.

Well I meant living pieces, but that's on me. - None of the siblings would kill their own child. - Maria was the accomplice. If someone told her that Beatrice was calling her and her cousins to the Golden Land, she would most definitely go with it. - The cousins were sedated. - The killer was present when this happened. - Kumasawa came straight to the dining hall, making no other stops along the way. - The study key is not in the study. - The culprit has solved the epitaph.

The culprit has solved the epitaph. Though, if you're the one who wrote it, does it count if you knew the answer to begin with?

- Kinzo's challenge of the epitaph was open to everyone, servant or family. - The culprit is the first to solve the riddle, and thus has inherited the gold and the headship! - Someone did, indeed, reveal the murder plot to someone who was not initially involved. - The culprit was not in on the plot to kill Kinzo. - Kumasawa locked the waiting room herself! - The culprit did not draw the circle on the waiting room door. - Nobody except for the servants is currently holding a master key. - The servants have not given their master keys to the culprit. - The food prepared for the cousins and "Kinzo" was disposed of by an accomplice.

Kinzo's challenge of the epitaph was open to anyone, servant, family, or unexpected unrelated visitor.
Until Eva brought it up in game, no one spoke of the murder plan to someone who wasn't involved.
Kumasawa did not lock the waiting room.

- The culprit locked the waiting room. - The only ones in on the plot against Kinzo were the four siblings (Krauss, Eva, Rudolf, Rosa), their spouses (Natsuhi, Hideyoshi, Kyrie), Genji, and Gohda. - A master key was used to lock the waiting room. - The only living piece unaccounted for when Kumasawa burst into the dining hall was Shannon.

The disappointments who wished to circumvent my chosen will by having me killed are my children, Krauss, Eva, Rudolf, and Rosa, their spouses, Natsuhi, Hideyoshi, and Kyrie, and that chef, Gohda. None of these people spoke of this plan to anyone else. I, Kinzo Ushiromiya, GOLDSMITH, was also unaccounted for.
