- Flaming died from falling to his death. He was trying to steal the gold, and when he tried to climb down the ladder he lost his grip and fell. Perhaps the blows the detective delivered to him did more damage than he thought. H-how Correct. Flaming fell to his death while trying to climb down the ladder.- Alternatively, his death was due to the storm that was hanging around the mansion. Perhaps he was struck by lightning. Neat, neat.- Alternatively, one of the bodies he disposed of out of the window fell onto him and killed him. wat- Alternatively, a branch broke off the tree and landed on him, killing him.

As for what happened, it's pretty simple. Flaming was trying to steal Xerxes' gold. Tech was an accomplice. Quite simply, he got caught. Jezz probably caught Flaming in the act on her way back to her room and died because of this. Fen was right there, so he had to die too. Xerxes would notice the missing gold eventually, and he heard the commotion, so he had to die. Tech was probably being used from the start; Flaming might have promised him some of the gold, but never intended on keeping his word. As for the others, they would be able to identify him as the only one who could have stolen the gold and killed the others, so Flaming had to kill Ryax, Sarah, and Nate.
Need I explain the closed rooms again? Fen set the chain in Xerxes' room after fleeing there from his attacker; he was the last of the initial victims (Jezz, Xerxes, Tech, and himself) alive, and his dying act was to call the dining hall and the detective. Tech dragged Jezz's body into her room and set the chain before he climbed out the window and fell to his death. Flaming himself set the chain in Fen's room after dragging Xerxes the rest of the way in there. Flaming hid under Fen's bed until he moved Xerxes out the window, after replacing the broken chain; after that he hid in the closet. Know what? While I'm here, I'll do the other murders too. He heard Ryax attack Nate and took this opportunity to kill him. Since the detective was...incapacitated, he then chased Sarah and attacked her. Why didn't Flaming just finish the detective off? Who knows? Maybe he thought the detective dead at the time and didn't realize until later. Sarah did not die in the hallway, however the dining room's door was locked and she couldn't get inside. Flaming's attack did not immediately kill her. She had been rendered unconscious. He then took her into the dining hall, set her on the table, and then stabbed her to death with those other knives. He locked the dining hall and then hid while he waited for the detective to come. He then followed the detective and struggled with him until the poison took effect. After this, he grabbed as much gold as he could and fell off the ladder to his death. Your motive was pure greed! Everyone died because you wanted to steal Xerxes' gold and couldn't wait for a time when fewer people were around!

Remember when Fen talked to Nate on the phone, what did he say again? What could he mean by that? Why did he hang up? OH, RIGHT! What he was about to say was "HELP ME PLEASE! THERE'S A MASKED MAN HERE!! HELP ME!!"
How do you explain this, my dear Nate?

- Flaming was already in disguise. Fen saw him kill Jezz and probably saw him kill Xerxes. - As for why he hung the phone up? He was weak from the poison taking effect. He dropped the phone back on the receiver as he fell over and died.

Jezz probably caught Flaming in the act on her way back to her room and died because of this. Fen was right there, so he had to die too; Fen was also possibly involved in the gold theft, but Flaming wasn't going to share.
Fen set the chain in Xerxes' room after fleeing there from his attacker. He was an accomplice, and thus did not attack Flaming. He was the last of the initial victims (Jezz, Xerxes, Tech, and himself) alive, and his dying act was to call the dining hall and the detective. Fen may even have made that call specifically to lure the detective out of the dining hall, hanging up dramatically and then dying of the poison before the detective found his body. You convinced others to help you, likely promising a share of the gold, but you never intended to let anyone else have anything!

Meanwhile, somewhere else...
Nate stands up from the floor and sees his own body laying on the floor, dead. He doesn't mind this, however, and somehow makes a blue sword appear out of thin air. He takes the floating weapon and looks at his side. Next to him, a shadowy figure appears: it's his friend, Yarn Witch. Nate gives her his sword and makes another appear in his hand. They then both leave the Jezz's room, the room they were in. Once they are gone from the room, they are teleported to another place, another world, another universe. They now are in an empty room, and in front of them, a masked person with a cape appears: It's the wizard Segaco. "...It looks like you've solved everything." Nate and Yarn nod. Segaco looks at the two of them for a second and sighs. "Very well." Right after saying that, he snaps his fingers and a red katana descends from the ceiling and falls into his hand. "Bring it on!"-The masked wizard yells while making a figthing stance with his weapon. Nate and Yarn both charge at Segaco at the same time, slashing as they run at him. They say: ""Everything started in the dining hall, after everyone had arrived to the island. The Culprit made coffee (using a water dispenser and coffee powder from the box in the Entrance) so he could give them to the guests.Xerxes had ordered him to bring the guests water, but he couldn't do that: The Culprit HAD to poison the drinks: If he poisoned water, everyone would be able to taste the poison and realize what was happening, but if it was coffee, they wouldn't notice a thing. So The Culprit, being a smart man, gave everyone coffee except for himself and Xerxes. This way, Xerxes wouldn't suspect a thing, either.Everyone was poisoned except for Xerxes and The Culprit!""Their blue swords turn into golden ones and Segaco isn't able to parry their attack. They don't stop.""When Ryax, Sarah and Nate were in the dining hall, The Culprit took a gold bar from Xerxes' closet and bribed both Fen and Tech with it, telling them he would give them more of Xerxes' gold if they agreed to follow his plan. They, of course, agreed."" The wizard manages to physically dodge this attack, but they were right: that was what had happened. Luckily for him, it was not game over yet. Or at least, that's what he thought. Before he knows what's happening, his illusion appears in front of him:
What could this mean? He wonders But once he sees Nate's sword flash, he realizes what is about to happen. Nate, with his now golden sword, slashes at the illusion, which quickly shatters and shows what it's hiding:The Culprit can be seen in the hallway, talking to his two accomplices Fen and Tech. The Culprit then tells their accomplices to wait and goes to Jezz's room, which is unlocked and has a sleeping Jezz inside.Culprit grabs a knife from the cupboard (leaving 4) and leaves the room: he was going to use Jezz's knife to frame her.He enters Fen's room and grabs three raincoats from the closet. The Culprit then goes back to the hallway and makes his accomplices and himself wear the raincoats. He also gives his accomplices gloves, which they were to throw away once they had the chance. He also had gloves for himself. As they talk, Jezz wakes up, goes to the hallway and sees the three men wearing raincoats, which was strange. She walks to them to ask them what they were doing and Fen grabs her from behind. The Culprit then quickly cuts her throat, and she falls limp on Fen.Xerxes then leaves his room and sees Fen pushing a dead Jezz off him, as if she was a bug.He doesn't know what's happening, but deduces Fen killed Jezz and punches The Culprit in the face, making him drop his knife.Xerxes takes it, and instead of reconsidering things and attacking The Culprit because he had the knife, stabs Fen in the arm.The knife gets stuck on Fen's arm, and they all fight: Tech & Fen & The Culprit vs Xerxes.Xerxes manages to do pretty well against the three, as he knows martial arts. The Culprit gets fed up with him and removes the knife from Fen's arm, which he then uses to stab Xerxes in the back.Culprit pushes Xerxes to Fen's room but fails, as the door was closed, but it's opened when Xerxes falls into it.Xerxes then dies with half of his body being in Fen's room and the other half being in the hallway. The Culprit, once he had confirmed Xerxes' death, gives his now bloody raincoat to Tech and drags Xerxes into Fen's room.Culprit then chain locks the door, but doesn't lock it.A messed up Fen because of the poison and the wound in his arm tries to enter his own room to keep fighting Xerxes, but regains his senses once Flaming tells him to enter Xerxes' room and lock everything.Fen quickly gives his bloody raincoat to Tech and goes into Xerxes' room.Inside, he locks it and chain locks it. He then goes to the winow, opens it, throws his gloves through it, closes it and locks it.Meanwhile, in the hallway, through the small crack on Fen's door, Flaming tells Tech to drag Jezz's corpse to her room and throw the raincoats out the window. He also tells him to lock the window from the outside and to not worry because he had set up a ladder against the window so he could escape.Tech, being a gullible person, believes him and drags Jezz to her room. He chain locks and locks the door, opens the window, throws the raincoats (including his own) through it, and climbs out the window to reach for the ladder. He doesn't manage to find it, because of course, it wasn't there. There was no ladder at all: Flaming had lied to him.As he looks for it, he slips because of the rain and falls to his death, leaving the window of Jezz's room open.Jezz had the key to her room in her pocket.Going back to Fen's room, The Culprit is seen removing the knife he had stabbed Xerxes on the back and putting it under him instead. He then takes another knife from Fen's cupboard (leaving 4) and stabs Xerxes' back, right where he had stabbed him. And now, with Xerxes' corpse being in the center of the room and the key to his room being in his pocket, The Culprit hides under the bed.In the room next to that one (in Xerxes' room), Fen is seen in the corner next to a phone, pressing the "Entrance" button on the phone. This is because Flaming had also told him that Xerxes' phone was not working well and had all buttons mixed, so the "Entrance" button called the Dining hall and vice versa. The "Jezz's room" button was also mixed with the "Fen's room" one.Anyway, Fen calls the dining hall, asks for help and quickly hangs up the phone. After hanging up, he stays in the corner unable to move, and soon dies because of the poison.---Segaco is shocked because of this. The truth behind his illusion was shown. As he tries to get an idea on how to counter the gold truth, though it's impossible, Nate attacks him with two golden truths:Nate attacks Segaco with "Xerxes' locked room" and "Fen's locked room"!They are correct. Nate then takes a few steps back, letting Yarn handle the second part of the puzzle. And Segaco, who was still trying to find away to counter the gold, is surprised by a Yarn running at him, a normal grey sword in hand. She slashes, but Segaco manages to hold her attack with his katana. As both swords touch each other, Yarn speaks: "After all that happened, Sarah exited the Dining Hall and found some blood on the hallway near the dorms, she ran back close to the dining hall, screamed so Nate and Ryax would hear her, and went back to the bloody hallway. When she arrived there, she saw all the blood there and passed out. Nate and Ryax heard her and went running for her, and found her unconscious in the bloody hallway. Nate had Ryax attempt to wake Sarah up while he looked around the mansion, in his search, he found out all doors were locked except for the entrance's and the dining hall's. As he came to that conclusion, Sarah's master key fell from her pocket, and Ryax used it to open Xerxes' door and go inside to tell Xerxes about what was happening. He found the door chain locked too. Inside, he found a dead Fen. Ryax put the unconscious Sarah on the bed and then, Nate entered the room. Ryax told him about the chain lock, gave Nate the master key and, after investigating, Nate decided to check Fen's room. He found the door locked and chain locked, which he quickly unlocked and broke the chain lock. He looked around for a bit, but did not look under the bed. Nate called the dining hall using the phone, left it off the hook, and ran out of the room, leaving the door open..." And then, yet another of his illusions appears in front of Segaco. He sees it, and then sees Nate slashing at it with his golden sword. The illusion immediately shatters and shows the truth behind it:Nate is seen calling the Dining Hall, leaving the phone off the hook, and then running to the Dining Hall. The Culprit, who was still hiding under the bed, leaves his hiding spot, closes & locks the door, sets up a new chain (he had a spare one in his pocket), and hangs up the phone.Nate, who was in the other end of the line when The Culprit hung up the phone, is confused by this, because no one is supposed to be in Fen's room.Going back to Fen's room, The Culprit unlocks & opens the window, drags Xerxes to it and throws his corpse out the window. He then closes and locks it.After he had done that, The Culprit hides in the closet with all the other raincoats.---The illusion falls apart and Nate attacks Segaco as he is still trying to fight off Yarn...Nate hits Segaco with "Phone locked room"!It's gold!---Yarn then continues talking to the now weak wizard:"Nate, after someone had hung up his call, left the dining hall, locked the door and went to Jezz's door. He unlocked it because it was locked, broke the chain lock because it was set, and finally entered the room. He found the window open and saw it was raining. As he did that, Ryax peeked outside Xerxes' room (he was still there with an unconscious Sarah) and saw Jezz's door open, so he decided to go there with Sarah to see what was up. He found Jezz's corpse and Nate. Ryax left Sarah on the bed and decided to leave the room to go to Fen's room, but found the door to Fen's room locked. Nate left the room to see what Ryax was doing, but locked Jezz's door behind him once he was in the hallway. After a bit of talking, Nate and Ryax went back to Jezz's room: Nate unlocked it and they entered. Nate woke Sarah up with water from the water dispenser. He took Sarah to Fen's room: Nate unlocked the door to Fen's room, broke the new chain, and everyone (including Ryax, who was waiting in the hallway) entered Fen's room. Nate found Xerxes' corpse gone and looked under the bed, where Flaming was hiding. Luckily, Flaming had changed his hiding spot to the closet. Nate was about to check the closet, but Ryax stopped him, as Ryax thought Nate was the killer. Ryax knocked Nate out and Sarah ran out of the room when she saw the two men fighting." Yarn stops and the masked wizard sees another of his illusions, his last one actually, appear before him: The wizard quickly pushes Yarn off him and turns around to face Nate because he is pretty sure Nate was going to destroy the illusion. He does that, but sees Nate playing cards with his friend Tea.He scratches his head and turns around again.Behind him, he finds...Yarn attacking his illusion with a golden sword.Crap.The truth behind the illusion is revealed:Ryax can be seen strangling Nate to unconsciousness. Sarah had ran out of the room while they fought. The Culprit, who was inside the closet, jumps out of it once he realizes Ryax is alone and knocks him out with his golden bar, which he had used to bribe Fen and Tech before. He then takes a knife from Fen's cupboard (leaving 3), stabs Ryax in the back, and then throws his body out the window. This is to ensure he would die in some way: if he survived the fall, he would die from the knife wound.Luckily for Ryax, he has a quick death from the fall. After that was done, The Culprit runs out of the room and searches the mansion. In his search, he grabs four knives from Jezz's cupboard (leaving none). He finds Sarah in front of the locked Dining Hall's door, which Nate had locked before, then drags the crying Sarah to the bloody hallway, knocks her out with his golden bar, and finally drags her to the dining hall. The Culprit uses his master key, which he had since the start of the game because he's a servant, to unlock and open the door.He puts Sarah on the table and stabs her with three of his knives on her back, killing her.The Culprit then goes to the Entrance, gets his wizard costume from the coffee box in the Entrance(he had put it there long before the events of the game), wears it, goes back to the Dining Hall, closes, locks & chain locks the door and finally hides under the big table in the center.--- Even though that's it for the illusion, Yarn adds something else: "Nate then woke up, and after looking around for a bit, went to the Dining Hall, which was locked and chain locked. After unlocking the door with Sarah's master key and breaking the chain, he entered the room and found a dead Sarah in the center. He checked her, went to Fen's room and finally to Jezz's.When he arrived there, The Culprit left his hiding spot and went to Jezz's room. When he arrived there, he threw his last knife at Nate, but Nate managed to defend against his attack using a mirror.Nate attacked The Culprit twice with the mirror before dying from the poison which was used on him during dinner. And of course, the reason why you didn't kill Nate when you had the chance was because you wanted to have an intellecutal fight against a real detective."Yarn Witch attacks Segaco with "The 'wizard´s' appearance."!It's correct!--- The wizard falls to his knees, and both Yarn and Nate walk up to him. The wizard smiles. "Heh, you got me. But there's something you're missing, people... Who am I?" Yarn and Nate point their swords at the masked person, and their swords change colors from grey, to blue, and finally, to gold. They swing their weapons down to him together, and in sync, they say: ""That culprit we've been talking about is you... FLAMING!!!""The two of them attack his face, which makes his mask fall off.Behind that mask, they see... Flaming's face. They were right.Flaming smiles one last time, looks to the two detectives and finally drops to the floor,... dead. Both swords then disappear from the detectives' hands. The two point at the corpse with their fingers and end it with one last story:""After having killed everyone, you went to Xerxes' room, took more gold bars and then tried to run away from the island. Sadly for you, the ladder needed to use to leave the mansion was wet from the rain, so you slipped while climbing down it and fell to your death.Anyone who tried to leave the mansion while it was raining would have died.Everyone including you died because of your own greed, and even though some could've survived, you decided to kill them all to keep the gold, which was not even yours, all to yourself."" And with those words, the wizard's corpse turns into ashes, followed by a gust of wind taking those ashes away.Having completely erased the wizard from existence, Yarn and Nate look at each other, nod, and teleport back to their home....With everyone including the detectives gone, this story ends.It might not be the best ending, but that's how ninety percent of stories end.The end. Thanks for playing.

Now then, I have some unfinished business to attend to.... -produces a red scythe- Before I go fulfill my promise to (re)murder Ryax, I'll leave you with this: I had fun. For a relatively simple set-up, you made quite the complicated mystery. Out of practice or not, if there had been a time limit, we would surely have failed to dispel this illusion of yours. Take pride in your work, young wizard. You did well.
