I just copied and pasted the OP from the forum I hosted this in (Except for the title)
So yeah
Zeuteateloud: The bakuracySo yeah
You've been invited by a childhood friend, whom you had lost contact with long ago, to his private island.
As a detective, you couldn't lose this chance and accepted his invitation.
After all, wherever a detective goes, a crime always occurs...
Rules and Mechanics
This game has two phases: The Investigation Phase and The Theory Phase.
-In the first phase, only one player can post in the thread (of course, I will also be posting).
-This game is like one of those "choose your own adventure" games: the player will post actions based on the situation he's in.
This includes talking to people, looking around rooms, confirming deaths, grabbing items and the such.
-This game is a battle between me (the host) and the players.
-In this game, crimes will occur, and the detective of the game (the lone player) must investigate things to get clues.
-I claim that all of the crimes in this game were made using magic, and you, the player, must deny that magic exists and prove that they could have been committed by someone in the story.
-In the investigation phase, you will investigate to get clues.
-In the theory phase, based on the clues collected, anyone in the forum can post a theory (in blue text) stating how they think the crimes occurred. They can post as many as they wish.
-I then may deny their theory by posting in red.
-When I'm speaking in red, I'm telling the truth. Red is the absolute truth and I cannot lie with it.
So for example, if you post "The culprit escaped through the window!", I may answer with "The culprit did not escape through the window." or something similar.
-The game ends once the players figure out the truth in the theory phase.
The phases are described in more detail below.

Phases
The Investigation Phase
In this phase, I will show what happens in the story, and the lone player must post actions so the story can advance.
---------------------------
Example:
Segaco: You are in a room.
Player 1: /look around
Segaco: You look around the room. There's a big table in the center of the room with lots of chairs around it.
There's also a body on top of the table.
The servant sarah is watching what you're doing.
Player 1: /check the body
Segaco: You walk to the body and notice it has a stab wound in its chest.
You search his pockets and find a key "Room 1".
Player 1: /talk to sarah: "Hello Sarah, how are you today?"
Segaco: "I'm ok, though my poor master died..."
Player 1: "It's ok."
Segaco: "Yeah..."
Player 1: /take the key
Segaco: You take the key from the victim's corpse and pocket it.
--------------------------------
While they are doing actions, I may post things that are happening to the other people in the story, which will always include magic.
What do I mean with magic you ask?
When someone dies, I will post a text stating how a man called "The wizard (not sorcerer) Segaco" killed them, and the point of the game is for the player to deny that the wizard exists and prove who the actual culprit is.
The detective will never see any magic, meaning they will always see what they are seeing.
Once the story is over, the theory phase will start.

The Theory Phase
In this phase, anyone can post.
Based on the clues collected in the investigation phase, players can post theories in blue text stating how they think the crimes were done.
I may then counter with the red text which, as I said before, is the absolute truth.
Here's an example:
There's someone dead in a room that has both the window and door locked.
Player X: The victim locked the door and window and then killed themselves!
Segaco: The victim was murdered. The victim did not lock the doors and windows.
The game ends once you figure out the truth of the game (who the culprit is, why they did it, how they did it and some other mysteries).
You cannot use the red stated in the OP (here) as proof.
With this I mean that if you say "Magic does not exist because the opening post says so", I will ignore the theory.
