Bernkastel’s Game
- Bernkastel’s game is one turn long.
- At the start of the game all deaths are listed and all circumstances are mentioned.
- All characters state their alibis in Purple Declaration (hex code #B57DCE). Purple Declaration holds the same validity as red truth with the exception of the fact that culprits may lie.
- Characters who are not culprits only speak the truth.
- There may be multiple culprits.
- A culprit is defined as someone who murders directly with their own hands.
- A culprit may lie before murdering.
- A culprit cannot die, but they can fake death.
- All statements made in narration are true.
- Accomplices do not exist unless they murder, in which case they become culprits.
- There are only 5 master keys in each game, one tethered to each servant.
- Once a servant’s corpse is discovered, their key is immediately destroyed.
- A key cannot be removed from a servant. In other words, the servant is essentially the key.
- A room cannot be unlocked from the outside but it can be unlocked from the inside.
- All windows are barred in this instance.
- There is no detective, there is no need for one.
- No roles either.
- This game will last 24 hours, and function similarly to the side games that Epilos ran.
- No blues or reds from the GM, except for restating something (such as stating that Eva was one of the victims of the first twilight, for example).
- Your job is to solve my mystery given the narration and purple alibis.
- I will confirm or deny your theory of whodunnit, and when it's solved the game will end and I'll post the method the killer or killers used.
