Kinzo's corpse was only recently put into the basement.
Nanjo was forced to help the culprit move Kinzo to the basement, at which point he was murdered.
Krauss was the last to die in the first twilight.
The culprit surprised Genji and Kumasawa in the washroom.
Genji or Kumasawa was already in the washroom when the culprit confronted them with the knife.
Gohda lied about not knowing what went on in the washroom.
The accomplice(s) sent Genji and Kumasawa to the washroom to die.
There is more than one accomplice.
Jessica and Kanon were not the only ones to leave the parlor while Erika was gone.
Genji didn't tell anybody Erika left the mansion.
Alternatively, Genji told the accomplice who then told the culprit.
Alternatively, Genji told the culprit himself.
Genji was murdered because he knew something he should not have.
Kumasawa was murdered because she saw the culprit with Genji's corpse.
Nanjo did not move Kinzo's Corpse.
Krauss was the last to die during the first twilight.
While the culprit killing them was a surprise, Genji and Kumasawa weren't snuck up on by the culprit.
The culprit was already in the washroom when Genji and Kumasawa entered.
Gohda didn't lie about not knowing what happened in the washroom.
Kumasawa and Genji were not sent into the washroom by anyone.
Jessica and Kanon were not the only ones to leave the parlor while Erika was gone.
Genji did indeed tell people that Erika was gone when they asked him.
Genji was not killed because he knew something.
Genji and Kumasawa entered the washroom together. |

Kyrie did not leave the parlor until after Erika had returned.
And I'm pretty sure Yasu being in play is no longer an option (I'm at least pretty sure I've had them both in front of Erika) so, Yasu is not in play.

Meta Phase 2 End!
Lots of red was thrown about this phase, but has it helped the detectives narrow down the suspects? Now that they've got some idea of why the murders have occurred, will it help them figure out who the culprit is?
Gameboard Phase 3 Start!
By the time Erika gets downstairs, everyone has split up to look for Maria who has vanished, one group with Hideyoshi is making a gameplan in the hall on the first floor. The typhoon rages outside, so Hideyoshi says Maria must be inside the mansion somewhere.
"If there weren't such terrible things goin' on, I might say we could leave her alone, since Erika upset her so. But it's too dangerous now."

"It's her own fault for believing in something as silly as magic. You realize that she'll probably be dead by the time we find her, right?" Erika takes note to see if Natsuhi and the servants are still around.

The people in Hideyoshi's group, including himself are Battler, Kyrie, and Gohda. Natsuhi and others are nowhere to be seen.
"N-Now listen, Erika, Maria's only 9 years old. She's allowed to believe in silly things sometimes." Hideyoshi says. "She may not have understood what was goin' on, but we shouldn't have let her out of sight."

Hideyoshi visibly gives up trying to argue with Erika.
"Shannon thought she saw someone going up the other staircase, so she went that way. George went with her, and Jessica and Kanon were pretty quick to follow after them." He says. "I think Natsuhi followed them, but maybe she was checking out the rooms over there instead."

Upstairs, George, Shannon, Jessica and Kanon are carefully exploring the second floor. They come to Krauss's room, and find it locked.
"Maria?" George calls, knocking on it. "Maria are you in there?" For a while, there's no answer, but then the four hear a shifting sound from the inside.
George hands his gun to Shannon. "I'll try and get the door down."
As he prepares to try and knock it down, there is another sound from down the hall.
"I'll go check on that." Shannon says, hurrying off before anyone can object.
"Hey, Wait a second!" Jessica snatches Kanon's gun away from him and runs after her. After maybe half a minute's hesitation, the two boys follow.
Only then does the door to Krauss's room open...

"It's possible-" Hideyoshi starts to agree, when there is a loud crash of thunder, causing all the lights in the mansion to shut off. Though it is a little after noon now, the storm outside makes it so dark no one without a clock could have guessed that.
About two seconds later, there is a gunshot, a yell, and two more gunshots from upstairs. The back-up generator finally goes to work and the lights flicker back on, as heavy, frantic, footsteps can be heard from upstairs.

"Well by the sound of things, it's time to investigate another crime scene!" Erika turns to go to the second floor. "Stay close, we don't know where the killer is~!"

Hideyoshi's face goes pale, and he nods. As they head upstairs, they hear Natushi.
"Jessica!" she screams.
On the second floor, Jessica's room is open and Natsuhi's face is streaked with tears as she cradles her daughter's body. Just outside the door is another scrap of a diary page.
But Jessica is not the only body in the room. Kanon is dead too.
Erika notes as they come upstairs that there is one more bloodstain in the hallway near the stairs leading up to the third floor. Shannon and George are nowhere to be seen.

"I was always so happy to be able to talk to her. I could feel normal, if even for a little bit. But, I don't want to just always do her pranks. I want to really get back at them. I wonder, will she still be my friend when she realizes that?"
Erika reads that off the newest note. There is a little bit written on the other side of the page too; apparently one of 'her' prank suggestions to open up the windows at night after the servants had already checked them if she couldn't sleep.

Something between a gasp and a cry clutches at Natsuhi's throat, as she realizes she is no longer alone.
"I-" Her voice is hoarse and tear filled. "I didn't- I was trying to find Jessica and I heard the gunshots and then-" Natsuhi tries to defend herself, but is having trouble speaking through her tears. Kanon appears to have been shot in the chest, and Jessica in the head.
