At least one victim thus far was an accomplice! Kanon is not an accomplice. Shannon is not an accomplice. Jessica is not an accomplice. Kumasawa is not an accomplice. George is not an accomplice. None of the victims of the first twilight were accomplices. Nanjo was not an accomplice. This leaves only Genji, so I can guarantee that Genji was an accomplice!

I use maria's power to question jessica's bed.
The bed squeaks and shudders and a mouth appears in the folds of the covers with the pillows acting as eyes. "I just can't believe it!" It says, "She ran in here, and was looking really scared too, kept saying someone was coming to kill her. She hid near the door, and when he opened it and came in, she pushed it more closed, jumped out and shot him. She seemed really upset that she did that, so I guess he wasn't the person she thought was going to kill her. Then she shot out the door at someone, I couldn't see who. I think they're the one who shot her afterwards. They dropped a piece of paper near the door afterwards, but the stupid door was in the way, so I don't know who it was. I'm sorry if that doesn't help too much, but that's all I saw!The bed returns to it's un-moving state, but the crease from it's 'mouth' remains. |

Quite simply, he died because he had outlived his usefulness.
There was more than one culprit!
Jessica was one culprit!
She was killed from outside the room, hence the red confirming her murder weapon was not in her room! Natsuhi was found cradling Jessica just outside the doorway, so this way Natsuhi could've shot her daughter with her own gun without having the gun enter the room!
There is but one living culprit!

She was killed from outside the room, hence the red confirming her murder weapon was not in her room! Natsuhi was found cradling Jessica just outside the doorway, so this way Natsuhi could've shot her daughter with her own gun without having the gun enter the room!
There is but one living culprit!

Of course Jessica was one culprit. I told you her body wasn't moved, and the bed saw 'her' shoot someone from inside the room. It'd be a neat trick for even me to work around that.

She could very well have entered it before I arrived. It's highly unlikely, but it is possible.
Shannon was not in one of the rooms I sealed before I sealed them. The remaining culprit is in one of the guest rooms. Jessica, the other culprit, is dead. Shannon is not an accomplice. This leaves the one culprit, which couldn't possibly be Shannon. Therefore I can guarantee that piece of furniture Shannon is completely innocent and has neither killed nor helped a killer!

You took plenty of time going to go check on George, after all. That doesn't mean she's the culprit, mind you, it just means you can't guarantee she's innocent.
