"Have at it then. The sooner we find this person, the sooner we can get out of this place alive."

Sorewa: "I can't be expected to be the only person working out who the mole is, I don't want you guys to suspect I'm framing someone. We need to talk about how one can get the ketchup from the kitchen to the bathroom; the first step is working out who could have taken it from the kitchen in the first place."

Sel: "You know, there's a line from an old and obscure play from almost 1000 years ago; 'The play is the thing to catch the conscience of the king.'"

"Frankly, Sorewa, anybody could've done it save for you, the victim, and the culprit. We were all alone at some point that night except you and Nate."

"Frankly, Sorewa, anybody could've done it save for you, the victim, and the culprit. We were all alone at some point that night except you and Nate." Sel: "You know what? I absolutely agree, if anything, considering this case only makes things harder for you all." " Something isn't right over there!" Sorewa: "You've forgotten one of the absolute basic rules we've been bound to. This rule played an immense role in solving not only the first case but also became the cause for Lisa and Gregory's stash in the third case!" Sel: "You're making far-fetched claims Miss Mukuro!" Sorewa: "Am I? Let me relay the sequence of events immediately before Edgar's death: We awaken in the school and are greeted with a recorded message, the reason why this message has been recorded is because the person who should be controlling Monokuma is unavailable, due to him being one of the students he's imprisoned." Sel: "Getting off-tra-" Sorewa: "I'M NOT FINISHED! We begin to search the school but we separate into two parties inadvertently - Our first killer goes into the kitchen to speak to the first victim. Our victim documents this indirectly." Sel: "And how does he-" Sorewa: "The other group, that is: Myself, Remus, Lisa, Natasha, Gregory, Yarn, Tea, Zeus, Eric and Rose, enters a classroom and finds one of your obscure poems. It's then Lisa calls a meeting. Nate and Remus trade groups, he is disconcerted with his presence and leaves for the cafeteria only to be caught up by this one rule that has caused a hindrance multiple times! It's then he encounters the only other person that could have taken the ketchup from the kitchen! These are the only people that could have moved the ketchup!" Sel: "But you didn't refute our claim! Why is it that no-one moved the ketchup after everyone retired?Sorewa: "BECAUSE OF THE NIGHT-TIME RULE!"

"So someone got the ketchup out of the cafeteria before the night time call, that's obvious. The question is, who all went into the cafeteria at that time?"

Sorewa: "The truth is, Sel, that this first game is your weak point. The second is salt in your wound, the third is your failed recovery and your fourth... Is your corpse!"
Sel: ("That was so much better than "something over there smells like a corpse" well done.")

"So someone got the ketchup out of the cafeteria before the night time call, that's obvious. The question is, who all went into the cafeteria at that time?" Sorewa: "We have pretty solid evidence that indicates exactly who, I don't want to steal the spotlight, you're gonna have to work that out yourself." Sel: "Aha. Ha. I see you what you did there." Sorewa: "Shut the fuck up! In the second case there's only one minor instance of someone pre-meditating our actions, but possibly even unbeknowst to them, this allowed our second murder to occur. This instance is not as malleable as the first, there are no potential suspects, only one target to point fingers at. If we work out the people who entered the cafeteria before the first murder, we can focus on the sequence of events in the second."

Sel: "Perhaps I should explain the exact function of the voting ballots during this brief intermission. You see, the absolute truth of this scenario is-"
Sorewa: "Stop distracting us! Guys! Please listen! We're almost out of time! Look at the evidence, look at it all the way from the start. Look at your testimonies! Please!"

Sorewa: "Good! Now, it's important to remember that one thing has happened in every night before every case until the fourth one, understanding this factor is important to understanding the second case's vital point."

Sorewa: "No. I don't mean the night-time announcement."
Sel: "You see, about two years after the high school life of mutual killing there was an attempt at... removing the despair from the remnants of the Ultimate Despair through a procedure of incubating them and forcing them to undergo a simulation in which their memories would be removed and-"
Sorewa: "Shut it!"

Sorewa: "Yes, I do. Something different happened on the second night during them."
Sel: "And you see, a prominent figure in the Ultimate Despair was none other than Kamukura Izuru, the man formerly known as Hinata Hajime. He had undergone a procedure in which they had neurologically engineered the Ultimate Hope!"
Sorewa: "ANYWAY! The dreams in the second case caused a bit of stir, does anyone remember? What about you, Tea?"
