Game One: Legend of The Golden Witch Humans Won
On October 5 1986, The Ushiromiya Family held their annual family conference. On October 5 1986, The Ushiromiya Family encountered a letter from their family's alchemical advisor, the source of their head, Kinzo's wealth. Unbeknownst to them the writer was the true head of the Ushiromiya family, the rejected child of Kinzo himself and illegitimate daughter to the daughter of Beatrice Castiglioni, Yasuda Ushiromiya otherwise known as the vessel for Sayo and Yoshiya, the servants Shannon and Kanon.
On the night of October 5 1986, Yasu, with her co-conspirators, Kumasawa Chiyo, Genji Ronoue and Nanjo Terumasa, conducted a plan to display the wrath towards the detective of this game, Battler Ushiromiya, to force potential atonement for his sins of abandonment 6 years ago.
On October 6 1986, following a break within the heated debate amongst siblings Rosa Ushiromiya, Krauss Ushiromiya, Rudolf Ushiromiya and Kyrie Ushiromiya, Yasu, as Shannon, knocked each sibling unconscious within their respective bedrooms in the guest house. After moving them back to the mansion via a dining trolley, Shannon placed their bodies into the Study, the key to which having been stolen from Natsuhi Ushiromiya whom had the key given to her by Genji. In this almost completely sound-proofed room, Shannon had fired a winchester into each individual sibling's faces, spilling blood on the study floor. The only issue here is that Eva Ushiromiya heard the gunfire from the study window when outside during her departure from the mansion. Contacting Gohda who had also been on duty within the mansion, Shannon called for some tea to be delivered to the study. Begrudgingly following orders considering the fact that delivery is Shannon's duty, Gohda entered the study with a tea set only to be shot in the face like the other four victims, spattering blood across the table. Following these murders, using the garden shed key taken from the servant's room of the guest house prior to the murders, Shannon carted the bodies to the garden shed and tore the faces off each victim using a hacksaw and a hammer. This was to eventually create ambiguity concerning the identities of the victims and to justify her future condition. Before "killing" her Shannon personality, Yasu, with the assistance of Kumasawa and Genji as she called for them early in the morning, moved the dining room table out into the entrance hall, placed the study rug into the dining room, moved the study table in the dining room, replaced the study table with the dining room table and placed the teapot from the study on the new dining room table. This completely reconfigured the scene of the crime and brought into question how the victims were murdered. Finally, Yasu painted a pentacle representing sacrifice on the shed door murdered her Shannon persona and bundled, bloodied and tore her clothes in order to become a victim herself but never actually placing a body in there and returning to the servant's room with the garden shed key as Kanon.
There was one minor complication on the eve of the execution of their plan, Eva Ushiromiya and her husband Hideyoshi Ushiromiya had succeeded in solving the riddle of their father's epitaph prior to the murders, as a reward they had been granted survival by Yasuda but Hideyoshi had a price to pay in turn for the life of his wife and his own self, to swear allegiance to Yasu and to assist them with the discovery of the first "6" corpses. In doing so, when discovering the corpses in the shed the following morning, Hideyoshi agreed not to note details concerning Shannon's "corpses" appearance and to uphold the illusion that Shannon and Kanon are two different people.
As part of an attempted faking of deaths, Hideyoshi called the parlour to alert them of an opportunity to come into the mansion's guest bedroom they had decided to reside in, this had been when Eva had fallen asleep after suffering a fever from the storm. Hideyoshi was instructed to uphold the idea of a magical murder by setting the guest bedroom's chain lock. The chain lock was eventually broken by Kanon by using wire cutters, afterwards Kanon had plunged stakes owned by Kinzo into Eva and Hideyoshi's foreheads, to Hideyoshi's surprise, his death was not faked as he had planned and Eva's death was accidentally faked when Nanjo, believing their deaths WERE to be faked, misdiagnosed Eva.
Yasu, in an opportunity to murder their Kanon persona, fled to the boiler room to observe Kinzo's corpse, which had been utilised in the series of ritualistic murders despite the fact that Kinzo had been dead for at least 2 years prior. Yasu stabbed themself with a stake only to fake their death and be misdiagnosed as dead by Nanjo who had in fact preserved his life successfully despite his claims.
When securing themselves in the study, Maria, following orders and Beatrice's "messenger" ensured the separation of the party by placing a second letter on the table in the study, inside held a letter relating to the epitaph and a pentacle representing the breakdown of groups. This incriminated the servants and herself and granted Yasu a chance to murder Genji, Kumasawa and Genji in the parlour whilst Maria ignored the murder behind her by singing a song as instructed by "Beatrice," distracting Genji, Kumasawa and Nanjo long enough for Yasu to quickly shoot them in the face, remove their faces with tools retrieved from the garden shed and gouge their body parts with stakes as instructed by The Epitaph. Unfortunately, Nanjo never finished his plan of presenting all the corpses in order to incriminate Shannon and Kanon after having second thoughts assisting the murders.
Finally, the discovery of the murders by Natsuhi urged her to summon the killer herself in a final confrontation that ended with her being shot from the shadows. The bloodfest ended when all that was left were the orphaned children, simple prey for Yasu Ushiromiya, the perpetrator and true culprit of The Rokkenjima Incident.
On October 7 1986, The Seagulls Cried at the fulfilment of The Legend of The Golden Witch.
On October 7 1986, there were no survivors.
This is the truth that has been formed from the unopened catbox. Game Two: Turn of the Golden Witch Beatrice Won
On October 16 1986, the Ushiromiya family held their annual family conference. On October 16 1986, the Ushiromiya family underwent a terrible event.
It would be best to describe the perpetrator's accomplices, the servants of the Ushiromiya family; Genji Ronoue, Chiyo Kumasawa, Terumasa Nanjo and eventually with some forceful action, Toshiro Gohda. All servants conspired alongside Yasu Ushiromiya to commit heinous crimes of murder... however there was one problem, someone solved the riddle of the epitaph. Rosa Ushiromiya became worthy to claim the name of Kinzo and so was able to prevent the planned mass murders... except she didn't and like Yasu, inherited the power to kill and became the real culprit in the following series of crimes.
Everything operated according to plan of course, first Yasu, as Shannon would retrieve the chapel key for Rosa and seal it inside an envelope, additionally she would give Rosa and her daughter Maria two additional envelopes as Beatrice. Rosa would hold the key and an additional envelope to be used later. Placing her second envelope into Maria's bag, Rosa distracted Kyrie by bringing attention to the mysterious guest; Beatrice whilst she would poison their dinners. The discussion over the new guest was cut short when Krauss, Natsuhi, Kyrie, Rudolf, Eva and Hideyoshi died from poisoning. Their bodies were carted into the chapel and had their insides torn open and stuffed with confectionery to uphold the occult nature Yasu wished to uphold. With a painting and locking of the door, the chapel became a closed room. The key was placed back into its envelope and put back into the bag in order to be removed once more to discover the corpses.
In the midst of investigation and subsequent return to the parlour, Rosa's arrival was delayed when she stabbed Jessica in the back after she had been escorted by Kanon. By ensuring Kanon's key was not removed from the premise, Rosa could use Genji's key to ensure obscurity of possibility and incrimination of Kanon who at that point, was no more.
The disappearance of Nanjo and Kumasawa was simple, there was no corpse, in its place a ploy was created. Nanjo and Kumasawa were in fact within the garden shed at this point, awaiting confirmation of safety.
The murder of Beatrice herself was, of course tragic and yet futile, but simultaneously the murder of Yasu and consequently Shannon. A sudden betrayal on Rosa's part.
After returning to the parlour, the detective Battler had fallen asleep, giving Rosa the chance to betray Kumasawa, Nanjo and Gohda. After the discovery of these corpses Rosa slipped her third letter onto the table, giving her reason to leave Battler and kill George whom had been searching for Shannon in the rose garden.
In Battler's final moments, the curtains closed on this tale when the bomb that had destroyed the shrine earlier mentioned and prevented from being deactivated by Beatrice had detonated, destroying all evidence of the horrific incident that had occurred. As for the disappearance of Rosa and Maria, some say they escaped to Kuwadorian to survive the explosion, some say they died in the explosion, but one thing is for certain. Rosa Ushiromiya ensured my ressurection, the rebirth of Beatrice The Golden Witch and all evidence that stated otherwise was destroyed. Now the only truth that remains to all others that this tale had intrigued is that Beatrice The Golden committed these murders and her existence is guaranteed!
Game Three: Banquet of the Golden Witch Lambdadelta Won
On October 5 1986, the discussion of the servants ended a bit differently than usual. Kyrie Ushiromiya declared herself the new head of the Ushiromiya family, having proclaimed and displayed the location of the gold. An agreement was made to share their findings, however, the siblings and their spouses, with the exception of Eva, had intentions of ensuring no-one else discovered the gold, this meant the death of the servants. Eva objected to this and took the key to the study from Natsuhi who eventually reluctantly agreed to this plan. In almost unanimity with the exception of Hideyoshi who disagreed also, the siblings pick-pocketed the key to the study from Eva in order to retrieve weapons for their murders of the servants in the rooms they would eventually come to be found in. Kyrie took the liberty of killing the person Hideyoshi was initially planned to murder. Their execution of their plan in hopes of obscuring the possibility of being discovered by authorities after the passing of the typhoon went smoothly, although their survival did not.
After the murder of the servants and blatant lying of the statuses of the doors their bodies were found in, a mystical and humanly impossible method of murder was created through falsehoods, fooling even Eva into thinking the murders were not done by her siblings. It was unanticipated that Eva would return to the room with the gold and even moreso unknown that Rosa would do so also. Acting upon possible threat to his wife, Hideyoshi killed Rosa and subsequently Maria, silencing her to prevent her from speaking about what she witnessed. Knowing who killed Rosa, Kyrie and Rudolf confronted Hideyoshi, as hit lit his cigarette - evidence that Eva was not involved as she became ill at a single whiff smoke - Hideyoshi was shot in the chest. The execution of Kyrie and Rudolf's traitor would compromise their plan, therefore their deaths were faked after having their guns hidden, they lay down with a note for Battler stating they were alive. However Krauss and Natsuhi got a hold of this note afterwards and executed them there and then with letter openers. Battler, silently witnessing this puts a plan into motion when Eva volunteers to make coffee for the next victims, during this time, Natsuhi and Krauss shoot George when they see him walk past the bar in search for his deceased lover. When they return the recieve their coffee poisoned with milk tampered with by Battler. They die shortly after the search for George begins, never making it past the arbour. In the final moments of the game, following Jessica's blinding, Battler successfully murders Nanjo by grabbing ahold of Eva's gun as she unlocks the parlour door in an attempt to flee. After killing Nanjo, Battler pushes Eva away and kills her. Jessica trips over Eva's corpse shortly after screaming and shouting before the trigger is pulled and the final victim dies.
The truth of Rokkenjima still remains a mystery, the mansion itself was destroyed in a vicious fire with the only evidence used to base anything on was Eva Ushiromiya's diary. It's contents were commonly interpreted, misinterpreted or even manipulated to vilify the innocent Eva. This legend that claimed she herself was the sole murdered gave her a vicious reputation that affected the only successor that lay in the wake of the Rokkenjima massacre, Ange Ushiromiya. This horrible lie became truth to the people but there still remained those that knew the truth, the reality in which Eva is no more than an innocent human let alone a blood thirsty witch and until they resign will the misconception about murderers remain just that.
This is the truth that has formed from the unopened catbox. Game Four: Alliance of the Golden Witch Kinzo Won *NOTE: This is the first game to use summaries of each phase.
Turn One:
As the game began it was revealed that Kinzo is in fact alive and has begun the ceremony of Beatrice's resurrection. In doing so Natsuhi, Hideyoshi, Eva, Rudolf, Rosa and Genji were killed via fierce firearms. Shannon, Kanon, Kyrie, Nanjo and Krauss were teleported to an unknown location only to contact the guest house room that the cousins were residing in, speaking of tests that were to be carried out amongst the cousins. Gohda and Kumasawa explain the situation to the cousins whilst Battler discovers several letters speaking of the rules of their respective tests - they must stay in the guest house if their test is not being carried out. Jessica and George left for her bedroom and garden arbour respectively as the phase concludes.
In an extremely brief meta phase, Nate and ninjasplaycardgames2 theorise possibilities over the murders within the dining room. Knight of Heart, the glorious and wonderful game master refutes all statements except one particular statement which is said to have already been rebutted by a hint that has already been given and votes for the next victim; Shannon. Is Nate hiding something from the rest of the group, perhaps?
Turn Two:
Jessica and George are killed despite their respective answers in their "test." Kanon and Shannon are said to have been killed as well. Battler runs after the producer of a mysterious letter to no avail, only to lose Maria, Gohda and Kumasawa after hearing Jessica's final phone call.
After another short meta phase, Nate presents the idea of Jessica being held at gunpoint to make her statements but Knight "Steal Yo Girl" Heart allows the statement to stand. Finally Gcar revives Ebilkitty as Kyrie Ushiromiya as the meta phase of turn two concludes. Turn Three:
Following Maria's successful attempt at the test, the murders of Shannon, Kanon, Nanjo, Kyrie and Krauss occur. In her final moments, Kyrie speaks to Battler over the phone telling him not to deny the possibility of any demons or witches he may encounter. After discovering George's corpse, Battler confronts Beatrice herself who produces his test. His attempts at denying her as a witch but accusing her of murder end in vain when she walks off without accepting his answer as correct. Battler is now alone to search however he pleases.
The first real fight begins as the game approaches its final game board phase. Much discussion over the possibility of someone faking their death in the first twilight occurs whilst some ponder over the entire series of deaths as a whole. Additionally players wonder if ninjasplaycardgames2 is on every drug imaginable, the answer is most likely yes.
Turn Four (Finale):
Battler discovers each and every corpse exactly as detailed in earlier phases. He was truly alone until the dawn of the third day when the witch resurrected.
Nate, ninjasplaycardgames2, Ephemeral Rose, Gcar90 and Ebilkitty put up their best efforts to challenge The Knight of Heart's game. Exposing the truth that the initial discovery of the crime scene was a ruse created by accomplices Gohda and Kumasawa, revealing different times of death for nearly every victim. It becomes implied that one of the cousins is the true culprit, the game ends with questions alluding to statements made by a temporarily resurrected Rosa. Despite the closeness of the battle, the war is inevitably won by the Game Master.
Ending:
On October 4 1986, Krauss Ushiromiya revealed the gold of Kinzo Ushiromiya, however it was not him that would become the true successor of Kinzo for very long. It was his daughter, Jessica Ushiromiya alongside her co-conspirators Yasu, Genji, Gohda and Kumasawa. Eventually, Kyrie Ushiromiya would later be forced to comply with the vicious ordeal that resulted in the slaughter of the Ushiromiya family.
Krauss Ushiromiya, father of Jessica, alongside Natsuhi discovered the hidden gold and darker element of the vault of Rokkenjima, including the devastating bomb. During the annual family conference, the heated debate of the night occurred there amongst Krauss' siblings; Eva, Rudolf and Rosa alongside their respective partners, Hideyoshi and Kyrie. Unbeknownst to them all, Gohda and Kumasawa were already engaging in the pre-meditated plan conceived by Jessica herself, having already known Krauss' plans to reveal the gold. At 8 PM, Gohda and Kumasawa ran into the room of the Guest House the cousins were staying in to announce the deaths of Rudolf, Eva, Rosa, Natsuhi, Genji and Hideyoshi. This of course, was a lie as the real time of death for those individuals would in fact be 11:45pm, not 8:00pm or even 10:00pm. Battler ran into the dining room to discover their bodies but instead encountered the fabricated scene of the crime that did not yet exist. After returning under the servants' suggestions, Yasu called the cousin's room, having the phone answered by Jessica who lied about the person on the other end of the line, she stated that her father was speaking to her even though he wasn't.
Meanwhile in the vault, Krauss has been cornered in an argument with his siblings, his acts of hiding the matter of Kinzo Ushiromiya's death became increasingly apparent and therefore had to give into their manipulative demands if he truly wished to claim headship of the Ushiromiya family. After all, the head of a family has the duty of ensuring the prosperity of the family. Krauss allowed the use of the gold which his siblings desperately needed and finally left alongside Nanjo, allowing his siblings to their own devices and discuss the gold amongst themselves whilst he entered Kinzo's study to accomodate his new persona, the persona of Goldsmith. However, Kyrie believed a hidden agenda was afoot and trailed him. Her plan ended in failure when she was inevitably caught by Yasu and forced to call the cousin's room at gunpoint (the gun being retrieved by Genji from the study) and reveal several tests that would determine the head of the Ushiromiya family, these tests were a ruse.
Jessica and George left the cousin's room, Jessica was met with Genji holding a gun for her to kill George in the Rose Garden, despite Yasu's suggestion that she mustn't arm herself. Jessica followed Genji into the dining room only to terminate him there and then and shove his body underneath the table, she didn't realise until the moment that she had pulled the trigger that her own mother had returned to the mansion. Jessica killed Natsuhi and put her corpse under the table with Genji. Hearing the gunfire, Yasu themselves feared the worse for Jessica whom she thought must have disregarded their advice and ended up being attacked, Yasu fled from the scene, attracting the attention of Krauss and Nanjo whom had heard the gunfire, following Yasu before being shot by Jessica herself. After turning to see Jessica, Yasu let down their guard, however Yasu was disguised as Shannon at the time and was going to serve the siblings when they returned from the vault, Jessica was not aware that Shannon was also Kanon and therefore did not hold back on pulling the trigger, killing her accomplice and own lover.
Despite her attempts to escape, Kyrie herself was eventually caught once again by Jessica who latter donned the garb of the Golden Witch, an outfit that came with the territory of the gold's vault. Jessica, having inherited the title of Kinzo, the head of the Ushiromiya Family, called Battler to force the assumption of her own death, additionally distracting Battler from the absence of Gohda and Kumasawa who would later be killed in the Garden Shed, their chosen hiding location, by Jessica. After shooting them in the forehead and stringing them up by their necks, Jessica collected the servant's keys, locked the shed's shutter and threw the keys into the shed through the window. In that moment she could later deal with the young Maria whom had come to see Beatrice the Golden.
Jessica as Beatrice and Kyrie being forced to assist with Maria's "test," gave Maria poisoned tea in the kitchen and an invitation to see the deceased family members alive once more. The siblings returned to the mansion after another long discussion and confusion as to the absence of Krauss, Natsuhi and Kyrie, however their confusion turned to horror as they witnessed the corpses of one of the highest esteemed servants, the wife of their previously established head underneath the table in a room splattered with red paint and blood, standing at the opposite end of the room was Jessica as Beatrice and Maria whom sluggishly walked into her mother's arms, happy that her mother was resurrected during her final moments. After establishing herself as the head, Jessica herself killed four of the members in the dining room and later shooting Kyrie who was given one final statement to Battler once more before she was killed, waiting for when Battler would eventually hang up.
Jessica placed Battler's test in front of the mansion's door, this time she would become acknowledged as who she was, the true head of the Ushiromiya family, Kinzo. Her test to him was for him to acknowledge her as his leader, his ruler, his protector. When Battler stated his answer to her question written on his letter "Beatrice," despair consumed her. It wasn't the acts of Beatrice that created the demise of the Ushiromiya family, it was Kinzo, she was Kinzo. Kinzo was the true mastermind! Jessica as Beatrice was the true Kinzo worthy of the headship, worthy of the gold. Why else would she demonstrate her occult stakes and her terrifying power to kill an entire family? Why else would she kill her own lover? Why? ...Why? Why would she do that? Jessica herself felt like she had betrayed her own hand with her ambition. Was it because she felt that her own plan started to falter as it began, or was the plan itself a mess from the start? It was her being likened to "Beatrice" that forced her to tear away the garb of the witch she used to fool the family she originally planned to lead. It was her being given the name of "Beatrice" that indicated her failure. It was being known as "Beatrice" and not "Kinzo" that turned her own gun towards herself, in her death she muttered the only words that mattered to her, the words she forgot to hold in her mind earlier... as she left Battler to face the destruction of the vault's bomb she whispered one statement that would seal the truth of the catbox forever:
Kinzo created the horrific murders of Rokkenjima on October 4-6 1986. Jessica was simply a fool played by her own hand. She may have created the catbox but it was Kinzo Ushiromiya that became the truth.
Game Five - Forgery of the Golden Witch Humans Won
Dead Pieces: (Person Killed - Location Found In - Supposed Cause of Death)
Turn One:
Kinzo - Natsuhi's Room - Incineration(?) Krauss - Natsuhi's Room - Gunshot Jessica - Natsuhi's Room - Gunshot Hideyoshi - Natsuhi's Room - Gunshot Genji - Natsuhi's Room - Gunshot After a smooth start to the fifth game, Erika washes up on shore and discovers the corpses of Genji, Gohda, Kinzo, Jessica, Krauss and Hideyoshi sprawled out in a circle in Natsuhi's room. Eva and Erika accuse Natsuhi whilst Battler attempts to prove she is not the culprit by searching for other keys to her room, although, he discovers they are in fact all where they were supposed to be. Erika discovers a diary detailing her hatred of the Ushiromiya family and her murder of a child 19 years ago. Also Battler fondles Maria, it is very awkward. After a very successful and productive first meta phase, the question being begged at this point in time is the matter of possibility. All possibel facets of entering through the window and at times in which Natsuhi's bedroom has been locked have been shut down by the wonderful GM, Knight and his unexpected temporary ally, Ninjasplaycardgames2. It appears that the only way someone can enter the bedroom is through the door which should have been locked.
Turn Two:
Shannon - Hallway - Throat Slit An extremely eventful game board phase, Natsuhi overhears a conversation from the bathroom only to discover Shannon's corpse with her throat slit. Accusations are thrown at her, stating that Natsuhi murdered Shannon when her, George, Maria and Battler had left to return a serving trolley which tablecloth was mysteriously replaced. Evidence such as the bloodied table cloth itself, bloodied tea towels and a recently cleaned knife are found in the kitchen with the serving trolley. Inside the ground floor bathroom that Natsuhi was in, a minor blood smear is found by Battler and confirmed by Erika. Natsuhi presents the idea to lock herself inside the second floor guest bedroom, Erika takes her medication and duct tapes the windows and door before investigating Kinzo's study; the supposed scene of the first crime. After discovering the murder weapon and bizarre alcoholic item, she duct tapes all possible entries and leaves for the parlour where everyone has regrouped. An argumentative and exciting Meta Phase, questions are drawn surrounding the circumstances of Shannon's death, it has begun to dawn on the players the possibility of Battler being able to commit murder, however the method is still in question and the only known possibly form of evidence of method is just as equal for Natsuhi to utilise. The debate begins to form a hypothetical argument revolving around the death of Natsuhi whom the players have voted for and in the end devolves into a rather silly argument that takes the phrase "Meta Phase" to a whole new level.
(RE) Turn Two:
Kanon - Hallway - Stab to Abdomen Battler - Hallway - Stab to Abdomen
After a bizarre return to Turn 2, the interrogation with Shannon and prevention of her death reveals her knowing about the bloodied tablecloth's disappearance and the possible window of opportunity for a knife to be taken away from the mansion's cutlery set. Additionally, Shannon elaborates on the special orders given to Genji and Gohda, according to her, she believed they were sent to gather up the siblings for a meeting in Kinzo's study. However, the meeting does not go well as Natsuhi is discovered holding a knife over the corpse of Kanon and the dying body of Battler, having been stabbed in the abdomen. Battler states that he witnessed the murderer and tried stopping them, Rudolf and Kyrie confirm Battler's death as this alternate instance of the game draws to a close.
Turn Three:
Maria - Outside Third Floor Waiting Room - Gunshot, Throat Slit Rosa - Outside Third Floor Waiting Room - Gunshot, Backstab As we begin to approach the ending parts of this game, Natsuhi is discovered to have mysteriously disappeared and Erika devises a plan to ensure another incriminating murder scenario. This time, the corpses of Rosa and Maria are found on the third floor in a vicious manner. A gun being taken from an area in which Erika had placed it, it seems as though someone has taken the gun to arm themselves and murder Rosa and Maria. Even Battler begins to resign to the compelling evidence that proves Natsuhi's guilt. An accidentally extended meta phase results in the discussion and gradual pinpointing of possible suspects concerning the recent murders, including the information given from the Second (RE)Turn. The meta phase closes with an explanation on the flaws in Battler, George and Shannon's alibis.
Turn Four:
The detective, Erika Furudo - as played by Ninjasplaycardgames2 - accuses Natsuhi of murder.
The Witches Court culminates and concludes with the overturning of Ninjasplaycardgames2's accusation and resolution of the game by Nate:
"Battler Ushiromiya is the culprit! I CAN GUARANTEE IT! Battler could have committed the first murders because he has no alibi for that night and Krauss and Genji didn't have their keys on them the entire night. Battler takes Genji's key and waits in Kinzo's study with the Winchester while waiting for the others to arrive. As they arrived one-by-one, Battler shoots them and waits for the others. Jessica, possibly wanting to talk to her father, goes to the study after Natsuhi tells her that Krauss went there. That's when Jessica is shot. Battler finds Kinzo in the study, takes Krauss' key, and moves the bodies into Natsuhi's room after she's woken up using the table cloth. Battler, having overheard at some point the long-held suspicion the siblings had about Kinzo being dead, found the corpse while committing the first twilight and put it with his victims. The second murder was from Battler, already having a knife on him from an earlier trip to the kitchen, looking for his next victim and, taking the opportunity to get Shannon alone to thank her for helping him dispose of the table cloth. It is at this point that Battler slices her throat open with her back turned to him in order to minimize the amount of blood on him. At this point, he calmly walks back to the rest of the crowd, perhaps using tea towels to wipe blood from his hands and hiding the stained towels in his pockets for later disposal. After Natsuhi's scream and the discovery of Shannon, Battler positions himself to where he can plant the blood in the sink with the bloody tea towels, while blocking Erika's view. It's at this point that the smear was "discovered" by Battler. The rewind to the alternate reality is easy. Battler, hiding a knife on him, attacks Kanon. There's a struggle and Battler accidentally stabs himself as well. Our GM already stated that that alternate game board phase was the end of an alternate game, but why? Dlanor's power rewinds us to the previous game board phase, so why would the second phase end the game? It's because Battler, the culprit, died and nobody else was able to commit murder! Nobody else can commit the murders because, of the three people with no alibi for the first murders (Eva, Shannon, and Battler), only Battler doesn't have an alibi for the second murder. Shannon was the victim and Eva was in the parlour with the rest of the group the entire time. Eva was already stated in red to not be the murderer. Natsuhi's disappearance is easy. Battler had already gotten an extra master key from the second servant's quarters when the party (with the exception of Erika) was looking to see if the keys were missing. He slipped away from the group while Erika was being a little bitch and went into the guest room where Natsuhi had been restrained. Battler either did this before the party returned to the parlour or while the party was moving to the study. Perhaps he used a story about how they decided someone should guard her just in case she tried to escape. It's at this point that Battler strangled Natsuhi or smothered her with a pillow, so as to not leave any blood. Battler then removed Natsuhi's bindings, perhaps using another knife he had - possibly picked up from the trolley Shannon had. Battler hides Natsuhi's body in the room, which was never searched, and then joins back up with the group before anyone notices his absence. Nobody else could have caused Natsuhi's disappearance because Eva, the only other living piece with no alibi for the first twilight besides Battler, was talking with Erika as the group moved to enter the study. She was the one that got onto Erika for having the study key, and she was the one that Erika declared herself detective in red to. This only leaves Battler as the possible killer and the only one capable of making Natsuhi disappear. Kyrie or Rudolf, being the likely accomplices, provided Battler with the gun he used to murder Rosa and Maria. Battler shoots Maria first, and Rosa tries to shoot him but misses. Rosa runs to try and get help fending off Battler, but he shoots Rosa (blowing the back of her head open) and pretends to arrive at the scene with his parents, who are likely to be accomplices. Perhaps they are the ones that told Battler's first victims that they were needed in the study. Nobody else could do it because at this point, the living pieces included Eva, who we already know is neither a murderer nor accomplice, George, who would not kill his father, Battler, his parents, and the detective. Only Battler could be the murderer of the previous victims, so only Battler could have committed these. Kanon, Kumasawa, and Nanjo were never murdered because Erika ended the game board prematurely and we were thrust into the final meta phase before those murders could take place." - Nate His irrefutable reasoning becomes the truth of the game and marks the success of The Human Side.

Game Six - Return of the Golden Witch Human's Victory
Game Board Phase 1 The family wakes up to find Krauss, Natsuhi, Genji, Kanon, Jessica, and their guest Erika missing. Upon searching the mansion, they come across a magic circle painted on the door to the study in blood. Battler finds the key to the study in his pocket as he is thinking of why the victims would be missing. Upon entering the study, they find all 6 victims dead, as well as a note on Genji's corpse laying out the details of the riddle and what the family can do to stop it. Upon searching the room further, it is noted that the gun case is open and one of the guns has been moved.
Meta Phase 1 Arguments abound about the fist twilight! Some deny the validity of the corpses, while others wonder about the culprit being someone other than a member of the family or a servant. One player theorizes that the corpses died elsewhere, however I - Battler Ushiromiya! - throw that argument to the ground with my truth! It was also established that the door to the study locks on its own when the door is shut, the detective is, in fact, alive and well, and that said detective did see the bodies!
Game Board Phase 2 The family questions Battler and George about the previous night and afterwords they return to the study to arm themselves with guns and to find Kanon's and Genji's master keys - which were nowhere to be seen. Nanjo, still searching the study, finds a letter taunting the family and signed by Beatrice. Gohda, who had started on lunch earlier, returned with the family to resume his job, however after he and Eva taste the soup that had been being prepared, they both fell dead.
Meta Phase 2 Many theories abound this meta! The players theorize how the poison was slipped into the food, and by whom. Maria reveals that someone has a split personality, and the servants are blamed through the use of their hypothetical split personality! Theories as to who placed Beatrice's letter were also brought about, but none were confirmed. Maria accused herself as a murderer and Dlanor challenged my red to no avail!
Game Board Phase 3 The party splits up, with part of it going to dispose of the tainted soup. The rest of the party goes to move and they notice that Battler and Maria have also disappeared! After searching through all of the rooms they could think of, the party of four finds nothing more than Kinzo's corpse in the boiler room. The party, after searching rooms, decides to go outside and finds the pot that the soup was in - now empty - but not the party that went to empty it. After searching, the party comes across the corpse of Shannon, with a hatchet in her back. Following a light, the party comes across the open garden shed, with a single master key sitting in it.
Meta Phase 3 Some progress was made this meta phase, as many blues were posted. The GM gave the layout of the mansion, defines a murderer, and the players begin to connect some of the dots. A few wild theories without substance were posted as well, but hey, it gets the players thinking and that's what matters! Can the family piece the clues together and solve the murders? Will George ever stop being such a prick? FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON UMINEKO NO NAKU KORO NI EPISODE 6, THE RETURN OF THE GOLDEN WITCH!
Game Board Phase 4 Nanjo leaves the group behind out of fear as he drops his gun and runs for the mansion. Kyrie, Rudolf, and the others search the grounds some more and then go through the guest house before attempting to enter the chapel, but as it is locked they don't bother to enter it and settle for looking in the windows as they had the only key. The group of three then enters the mansion through the front door and find Battler's blood-stained jacket. After entering the parlour, Rudolf thinks he sees someone in the distance and smashes through the window to give chase. Kyrie follows him, leaving Rosa behind. Rosa hears a gunshot from within the mansion, and slowly makes her way to the origin of the sound to find Nanjo dead. She notes a missing vial in the medical supplies. After a short mourning for the good doctor, Rosa hears two more gunshots in the distance. Following the sound, she comes across Kyrie and Rudolf, dead. As the game drew to a close, Rosa heard a close gunshot, and turned towards the sound only to be struck down before she could see the source.
Meta Phase 4 Maria, having got into a fight with Erika over the existence of magic, cried herself to sleep. While she was asleep, the alternate personality she shared her body with, Beatrice, began to take over. After Battler returned from escorting Erika to the mansion, Battler went to sleep thinking it was much later than it was. However, George was not asleep as he seemed to be. George slips out of the guest house and into the mansion where he sees Jessica going up to the third floor. He followed her and found her going into the study, and called out to her. George made up a story about Maria wanting to borrow an occult book, but she was too tired to come pick it up herself. George enters the study behind Jessica. Natsuhi comes later, followed by Kanon and then finally Krauss. This is when Erika came. She called out to Genji, who was about to close the study, claiming to have found Kinzo. Krauss, shocked, told Genji to allow her in. Erika began her explanation of how she came across Kinzo's body, and before Krauss could speak up - to promise her an amount of money to keep quiet about what she found - George grabbed a gun from the case and shot Erika in the back of the head. George then followed through, shooting the others as they panicked and tried to flee. George stole the master keys that Kanon and Genji held, as well as the study key. Before leaving, George fired on Erika's head a few more times and returned the gun from where it came from. He took the opportunity to copy a circle he had seen in Maria's occult book on the door, using the blood of his victims. George stole a vial of poison, which was easily-identified by the label - and then returned to the guest house to plant the key to the study on Battler.
The next morning, as the bodies were discovered, George told the truth about when he went to sleep, however he made up the story about talking to Shannon the entire time. Shannon, horrified at the realization that he had killed the six victims, went along with the story out of fear. Later as the family went to get Gohda, George set himself up for a plan to end the family in one sweep. As the family began to file out, George went to the soup-in-progress and put the poison in. Eva, who saw George at the soup, assumed he was checking out what Gohda was making for lunch and didn't bring it up. Back in the study for the second time, as the family was searching, Beatrice set the letter she had written that morning after being woken up by her mother on Kinzo's desk and waited for someone to discover it. Afterwords, the family returned to the kitchen and something unexpected happened. Eva and Gohda taste-tested the soup to see if it was ready. George, sweating on the inside, watched as his mother and Gohda died.
Beatrice took a key from George and used the opportunity caused by the group shifting focus to the deaths right in front of them to leave, with Battler in tow. After (poorly) faking a state of mourning, George suggested that the soup be disposed of in hopes of disposing of any evidence that he may have inadvertently left behind. As George, Hideyoshi, Shannon, and Kumasawa went outside, Shannon pulled George off to the side to call him out on the eight murders. Hideyoshi and Kumasawa looked for a place to pour out the soup and, as they did so, Hideyoshi spotted something: a light coming from the woods. Kumasawa put the pot where it was found as Hideyoshi and George went into the woods to see the source of the light. Battler was trying to talk some sense into "Maria" when Hideyoshi and George came across them in the garden shed. Hideyoshi asked them what they were doing outside before Maria attacked Hideyoshi with a hatchet, drenching Battler in Hideyoshi's blood and even getting some on herself. George, witnessing this, attempted to fight back and kill Maria, but Battler struggled with him as Maria hit George in the leg and then in the neck, severing his spinal cord. Battler removed his now-soaked jacket and hung it up on a tree limb as he prepared to move George and Hideyoshi's bodies deep into the forest and hide the blood with dirt. Shannon and Kumasawa had grown worried at this point and went looking for the men, only to find the bloodied Maria setting the other key, picked up from George, inside the shed. Kumasawa bent down to see if Maria was injured and that's when Beatrice attacked Kumasawa and struck her neck, however the wound was not immediately fatal as she ran to the Rose Garden, where she died. Shannon also tried to run, but she tripped over a root and Maria struck her chest multiple times, killing her. Maria dropped the hatchet, took Battler's jacket, and picked up George's gun to go finish off Kumasawa, but found her already dead. Battler, having heard the commotion, returned to find Shannon dead. Battler turned her over and drove the hatchet into her spine, trying to be sure she was already dead. Before he could hide her, however, he heard Rosa and the others coming and hid around the back side of the mansion, watching them walk right past him and discover the corpses.
Nanjo ran back in through the servant's area, and into his office. Maria, having entered the mansion after finding Kumasawa dead, dropped Battler's jacket as a screw-you to the others, should they find it and heard the commotion Nanjo caused and went to track him down. After Rosa and company left the area, having managed to not find George or Hideyoshi - much to Battler's relief - returned to the forest to dispose of Shannon. Maria managed to find Nanjo, judging by the ruckus he was making as he tried to barricade himself in his office and used her remaining master key to open the door. Rudolf spotted Battler outside moving Shannon and jumped through the window with Kyrie behind him. Beatrice convinced Nanjo to let her in by feigning that she was in danger and as he got close, she shot him with George's gun. Rudolf and Kyrie, having heard the gunshot, froze for a moment before returning to their quest to find Battler. Maria, exiting through the servant's area, heard Rudolf and Kyrie and followed.
Beatrice caught up to Kyrie and Rudolf, chewing out Battler over finding him with a corpse in his arms. Beatrice shot the pair dead and Battler dropped Shannon to mourn over his parents. Maria and Battler heard Rosa open the door to the servant's area and leave, and they decide to hide in a thicker part of the forest's bushes. As Rosa came to a stop and began looking around, trying to find the source of the gunshots, Maria pointed the gun at Battler's head while he was watching Rosa. Rosa was turned away and Beatrice shot Battler before quickly cycling the next round and shooting Rosa dead.
George wanted to be with Shannon at any cost, even the lives of his family. Beatrice wanted revival, not being aware herself that she was not a witch, but a split in Maria's psyche caused by years of abuse from her mother and other children in her school.

Game Eight: Rise of the Golden Witch Human's Victory
~FIRST TWILIGHT ~ Victims: George, Genji, Natsuhi, Hideyoshi, Rudolph, Kyrie The bodies of the first twilight victims are found in the dining room floor. Kumasawa, who at first appeared to be another victim, was actually quite alive, although she is suffering from some short term memory loss, likely do to the wound on her forehead. After a thorough discussion of everyone's whereabouts the night before, Eva notices that her son, George, is nowhere to be seen. The family searches the mansion and guesthouse but they did not find George.
~META 1~ The players quickly amass a small army of red truths. Much focus is spent on discerning the nature of Jessicas conversation with her parents. And the GM refuses to rebut a few blues. (Must preserve some ammo for later)
~SECOND TWILIGHT~ Victims: Shannon The family decides to arm themselves so Battler and Krauss go to the study to retrieve the guns. While they do this, Kumasawa screams when she finds the now unconscious Gohda on the floor. Eva and Rosa act suspicious. The family finds Georges body in Jessicas room. Eva gets mad and kung-fu kicks Shannon out the second story window. The cause of death however, was a bullet wound. Eva runs away and everyone questions Battlers sanity.
~META 2~ No rebuttal.
~THIRD TWILIGHT~ Victims: Ghoda, Krauss, Jessica Lots of people died this BGP, and Battler just stood by and WATCHED.
~META 3~ Stuff happened.
~FOURTH TWILIGHT~ Victims: Eva, Kanon, Nanjo, Battler, Kumasawa, Rosa People DIED.
~META 4~ Willard wins.
GAME SUMMARY Rosa gets everyone to go to the study, Genji opens the door, Maria shoots everyone while Rosa prevents escape. Maria and Rosa take separate paths to reunite with Shannon who was downstairs (for Shannon was an accomplice, under the belief that Rosa would spare George if she complied). Rosa is intercepted by Jessica and the two look for Maria, who was already with Shannon downstairs. Shannon, Maria and Rosa head up to Rosas room. Shannon gives them both the details about the meeting with George, believing that they would simply knock him out and lock him in the vault until the rest of the family was killed. Rosa had solved the epitaph so she knew the location of the vault. So Maria heads out alone at the appointed time and kills George. Later between the times everyone is sleeping and the change in night shift from Shannon to Kumasawa, Rosa drags the bodies from the study to the dining room and places the study key she had snatched earlier back into Genjis pocket. Then she heads out and hides Georges body in the vault, which had been pretty much let out in the open. Rosa returns to her room before Kumsawa arrives and faints upon the discovery of the bodies.
Rosa used looking for Marias rose as a cover up for moving Georges body using the staircase on the other side of the mansion (because she's batshit insane). Shannon distratced everyone by leaving the bathroom door for a bit to knock Gohda out with.... something... (I didn't really think that one through too well). Later Georges body is discovered and Evas incredibly convinient fit of rage gives Maria the chance to finish her off by using the gun Eva had dropped on the floor moments ago and shooting through the now shattered window.
Gohda, who was alone, was killed by Maria while Krauss and Kanon were on the other side of the second floor. After the gunshot, Maria ran down the second set of stairs down to the first floor guest room, discarded Evas gun and waited in the kitchen. At the sound of the gunshot, Jessica, who was in the third floor hallway trying to bash the study door open (having forgotten she couldn't do much from there because of her rage) ran down the stairs and was ambushed by Rosa who knocked her out and dragged her to the kitchen where Maria finished her with a knife. A few minutes later, Krauss comes into the kitchen, missing the rest of the party who was already outside in the rose garden. He sees Jessica dead on the kitchen floor and screams, alerting the party outside. Rosa, who was hiding just out of his view in the kitchen, knocks him out and Maria stabs him with another knife. Not wanting all suspicion to fall on her and her daughter, Rosa grabs Jessicas corpse and makes a run for the courtyard before everyone arrives. After everyone passes by her, Rosa takes Jessicas corpse outside and hides it in the bushes. She and Maria wait for their next chance when Battler makes everyone wait in the parlor.
Maria gets on Rosas shoulders and shoots Kumasa with Rosas gun. As Eva heads out through the front door to catch them, they slip in through the back and take down Nanjo from their new vantage point. Knowing Eva was coming back in through the front door, Maria and Rosa hid outside of the parlor and waited for her chance to shoot Eva from the side and went back into the parlor, closing the door from the inside. It is at this point that Battler went apeshit and ran all around the mansion leaving Kanon alone, and by consequence he was shot. Rosa then staged a little act for Battler by tying Maria up and locking her in the guest room wardrobe on the first floor (though this was mostly to screw with the players, eh Yarn? ;v). You know what happens next. After Maria shoots Battler, she shoots Rosa to complete the resurrection of Beatrice or some such nonsense. Then the island explodes and blah blah gates to the golden blargh open.

Game ∞9: Throne of the Golden Witch GM's Victory
(Incomplete; see game board for full game) Beatrice looks down at the silver spoon Shannon so skillfully left upon the Table before her and waits in silence before answering. Beatrice "That if they solve this he made riddle... They will be able to keep their Fortune. Until then though, All i can do now is wait until the conference is over. And onceit is over, that ridiculous clause he placed... will go with the storm."
PREQUEL END!
At 7:30 dinner was officially over and done with. The cousins (excluding Lion), Erika, and Dr. Nanjo move on to the Guest house. All The family is left in the dinning hall to begin their conference with Krauss nervous to the extreme. Beatrice remains in her VIP room not wanting to come out, and most of the servants Excluding Genji go along to the guest house. Many of the Adults go in and out of the conference area devising strategies or saying they need some air to cool off.
While in the confines of the room playing cards Maria sees a beautiful golden butterfly Flutter outside in the rose garden near the rotten flower. With all her excitement she goes, and the cousins (including Erika) go along with her. In the rose garden, Maria and the rest watch the beautiful butterfly heal the poor wounded flower and are amazed at the prospect. Suddenly a huge hit of drowsiness swoons over the group as they slowly, one by one, drop onto the ground. Each of them trying desperately to stay awake but failing to do so. Beatrice appears before the Group in her magnificent Gold embroider dress and smiles at the small group of children before her.
Beatrice "On the first twilight, offer the six chosen by the key as sacrifices. Hm? I'm missing one..." a sinister grin appears on her face as she lifts them up into the air and vanishes with them out of sight.
It is 10:30 PM and the conference has finally come to a close. as the family come out of the dinning hall and into the Main Hall. A shocking Sight appeard Before them. 5 Figures are found hanging from the Chandelier. It is Maria, Battler, Jessica, George, and Erika, Hanging from Nooses in the middle of the Main Hall. Ropes are Found to be tied on anything that was sturdy enough to support their weight. At the base is Beatrice with a noose around her neck lying on the ground not moving a single bit from her position. You could say she was sleeping if there weren't 5 bodies above her. One of the ropes appears to be snapped among the 5 bodies dangling from their necks.
Game Board Phase Finally Begins!
After a long debate everyone decided that it was best to leave the scene the way it is, so as to no longer further contaminate the crime scene for when the police arrive. Everyone thought it would be safe to travel on in a group towards the Guest house. However, Kinzo has decided not to go still mourning over the loss of Beatrice The Golden. Although Lion has tried Desperately to tell him not to stay alone Kinzo did not listen and headed back to his Study on the 3rd floor alone. Lion has asked that Genji stay within the mansion to watch over Kinzo Along with Shannon as the others moved on to the Guest house. Especially seeing as the phone lines are down and there is no way of contacting anyone between rooms. So Genji and Shannon decided to wait on the 3rd floor in the waiting room for Kinzo's orders while the rest of the family went on their way.
Kinzo, Shannon, And Genji are the only ones in the mansion! They are currently on the 3rd floor. They have decided to spend their time going through The keys which Shannon has obtained from the Servants room.
In the Guest house (Which sadly does not have a layout as of yet) everyone is currently residing in the lounge thinking over the thought of their loved ones being stolen away.
Back in the Mansion, In the Main Hall, Beatrice is still and lifeless and like a balloon, a breath of air coarse through her body and she slowly gets up from her sleep. She finds everyone on the ground with their ropes still around their necks. She takes her's off only to find that it has been snapped short and finds a rope on the chandelier still dangling in its place. Beatrice "Wait!? Are you fucking kidding me!? Of all the people who were dead on that Damn Chandelier I was the only one who's rope snapped!? George is a fucking fat ass and he was still up there dangling!?" As she continued to rage, her portrait begins to speak. Portrait "What's even worse is that the Fat asses Father actually solved the riddle." Beatrice "WAIT, SO NOT ONLY DID I FALL BEFORE THIS FAT ASS, HIS DUMB ASS FATHER SOLVED THE FUCKING RIDDLE!? GOD DAMN IT!! GET UP YOU LAZY PIECES OF SHITS! IT'S TIME TO GO TO WORK!" with a wave of her pipe, the cousins including Erika breath life into their bodies once again, All of them having rope burn marks around their necks.
Battler "Yawn! Man that was a sleep to remember." *Smacks George in the head with her pipe* George "Ow! What was that for." Beatrice "My congratulations to your father! Now Lets go! Where is everyone currently at?" Portrait "The Family have decided to move on as a group to the guest house thinking it be safe to be there. Kinzo is in his Study and Shannon and Genji are currently in the waiting room. Lion asked them to keep care of Kinzo." Beatrice "Jessica, I want you to go over to the guest house. Call you're Father over here. I need to speak with him about the Embezzlement he has been doing with.... Hideyoshi's gold.... ( =_=) Everyone else, go with her. Comfort your parents and enjoy one another's company. Erika, you will be coming with me. Everyone understand?" All "Yes Lady Beatrice."
Everyone does as they are told.
Erika "So what is it that you need me to do lady Beatrice?" Beatrice "I need you to keep Shannon and Genji from entering the study while I speak to Kinzo. Genji has a Study key which is one of the 2 keys being able to enter the room." Erika "Of course Lady Beatrice! I am more than capable of... huh!?" Beatrice "Hm? Whats the matter?" Erika "My Duck Tape... M-My Chopsticks! T-they're gone! They belonged to my master too. ;A;" Beatrce "Urgh! The others must have taken it as evidence, You'll just have to find them later. For now though..."
In The Guest House.
Knock* Knock* A questionable look comes to one of the parents and fear soon strikes them. It was only after they opened the door was that fear became Joy as the parents were reunited with their children. Then it became confusion until the children explained that Beatrice was the one who brought them back and that everything was alright. Jessica also explains that Beatrice wishes to speak to Krauss telling him about the money problem he is having. Worried and Nervous, Krauss makes his way towards the Mansion. Lion being the Heir that Zie is, Has decided to go along with Krauss to comfort him.
In the Study.
In the Study, Kinzo is seen Crying over Beatrice's portrait, Tears running along his face.
Kinzo "Beatrice, Beatrice, oh Beatrice." Portrait "Such sobbing suit you best Kinzo. Especially when it rings with my name." Kinzo "B-Beatrice!?"
The portrait before Kinzo moves as Beatrice steps out of the frame and onto the floor in her oh so elegant dress.
Beatrice "We have much to talk about."
Back in the waiting room outside the Study Shannon and Genji are looking through the pile of keys when suddenly shuffling is heard at the door. Genji is the first to get up and walk up to the door to see if it is Kinzo.
Genji "Hm? K-Krauss" Krauss "Where are they!?" Genji "Calm yourself!"
Shannon gets up and walks outside the room to see Krauss frantic and frustrated. He explains that the bodies are no longer in the Main Hall. As Shannon and Genji are shocked at the circumstances before them They have decided to go to the third floor to the study to say this to Kinzo at the new circumstances. After knocking several times with no answer Genji has decided to open the door with his Key and lord and behold Kinzo is there with a stake sticking out of his chest.
Game board phase end! The Motive has something to do with the gold. The 1st and 2nd Twilight's are over. Much Speculation has been thought of about the bodies as they have gotten up and walked away on their own. Everyone was sad, and then happy again! Yay!
Meta Phase Start!
Beofore we begin with our usual Battle of Reds and Blues allow me to make the first move!
Through the use of the Detective's Authority "None of the Bodies have pulses and thus the detective has declared them DEAD! All the Corpses the Detective has checked are DEAD! All Corpses Found in the First and Second Twilight are DEAD!" Why? Because it was done with magic of course! Doi!
Meta Phase End!
There was much debate over the information on the first twilight, evidence that was not found has been shown, and the crime solvers seem to be on the right track. But what does it mean when I said that I will allow it for now?
Game part 2 START!
Game takes off back to where we left off GO!
Game Board Phase End
Sad to say it wasn't very exciting this round only that the detective has had more of an idea as to the motive and the BG behind the murders.
We do see that the Servants found the bodies of the first twilight yet again but in a completely different location. outside the guest house. What could they be doing there though...?
Meta phase start (although I don't know if there is much to do this round but you know. Meh?)

Game Eleven: Birth of the Golden Witch Clair's Vicory
Game Board 1 The first twilight occurred and the family spends time examining rooms and mulling over alibis before Clair starts the vote. Three people, including George himself, vote for George as the culprit. Clair leaves the group momentarily and returns with a Winchester rifle and executes George on the spot.
Game Board 2 The family, after George was killed by Clair, went their separate ways. After a few hours, Eva went to her room, only to find it locked. After getting the door open with the help of Lion, the family finds Hideyoshi dead of a stab wound. After investigating and questioning alibis, the family decided to go find Kinzo and tell him of the news, only to find Clair herself dead in the VIP room. Closer examination revealed Clair wasn't as she appeared, however, as she was really a blonde woman who had more than a passing resemblance to Lion. Kinzo happened on the scene after leaving his study, and after some thought the family decided Krauss was guilty and sentenced him to death.
Game Board 3 / Game End After Nanjo's death, Kinzo picks up his gun and shoots Eva dead. As he cackles, Lion stares at him in shock. "G-grandfather?! It was you!" "Kyahahahaha!! Yes, it was me, why else would the murders follow the epitaph I wrote before your mother presented it to the family?" Kinzo's grin turns to a frown at this point. "If only she hadn't threatened to reveal herself and take you into hiding with her, she wouldn't have had to die. I chose the first six at random after Nanjo slipped the drugs into the tea at the conference, with him and Genji delivering the victims to my study." Lion gives a confused look. "My...mother?" Lion thinks back to the dead woman in the VIP room and the striking resemblance she had to shklim. "Yes, your mother. I had to silence her. I'm disappointed that you didn't figure it out when Genji stated that his master key was missing, or when you saw the stakes in my study. It was my epitaph, so why would anybody else have looked for the stakes in my study? Why would I have been awake at such a late hour if not for the fact I had been committing the murders and using the final stakes?!" Kinzo resumes his cackling at this point as Lion drops to shkler knees and Kinzo puts the gun to shkler head. "You have proven yourself unworthy of my name!" Kinzo shoots Lion and then Genji as he makes his way back to the study in order to wait for the police to arrive so he can claim to have survived the wrath of the island's witch, however he never makes it to the study. Kinzo Ushiromiya, the last living person on the island drops dead of a heart attack on the stairs heading up to the second floor.
October 7th, 1982. The boatman returns to find nobody waiting for him at the dock. He looks around for the family and finds them one-by-one before running back to his boat to contact the police on the radio. The police investigate the scene and, judging by the riddle they found in the VIP room with Clair, they determined that the family was killed as part of a ritual and the rumor that spread from there was that the family died at the hands of the evil spirit that inhabited the island for many years.

Game Twelve: Confusion of the Golden Witch Human's Victory
Game Board Phase 1 The family arrives on the island as always, however there is one slight issue: the wound to Featherine's memory unit caused her to get a few facts mixed up, including which sibling had which kids. As the conference roared on, Featherine began her revival ritual by taking her first two sacrifices: Battler and Kinzo Ushiromiya. Upon searching his study, Rudolf and Hideyoshi found the riddle that Kinzo left behind to determine his successor.
Meta Phase 1 For such short meta phase, the attacks from our new detective were pretty vicious~! It's too bad they failed to pin this crime on a human, because time is running out!
Game Board Phase 2 The siblings arm themselves against the potential threat and leave the study to go check on their children. When they arrive, Rosa's party - consisting of herself, Nanjo, and Kumasawa - has been reduced to only Rosa. George and Lion have also gone missing. Rudolf, Kyrie, Hideyoshi, and Eva split up to search for the four missing people and the former two find the bodies in the bushes. In line with the story told by Rosa and the cousins, each of the deceased has a hole through them as if caused by a gun. Featherine confronts the group and tells them that she plans on slaughtering them all in the name of her revival before she - along with the newly-arrived Dlanor - leave the four and Featherine returns to the rest of the group in the guest house to take Shannon's life.
Meta Phase 2 Quite the active meta phase, that. Headway was made into the first twilight while the humans struggled to explain the second, even with the aid of the cousin's TV in the guest house. Many theories were thrown, but many were rebutted while a few were left to sit. Poor Shannon didn't get a lot of attention, however. Her death remains a mystery for now.
Game Board Phase 3 Another twilight down, only a few more to go! After the death of Shannon, the remaining members of the family and staff decided to barricade themselves in the guest house and get Erika, Gohda, Genji, and Kanon out of the mansion and to safety. Along the way, Kyrie, Rudolf, Erika, and Genji grabbed all the ammo they could carry and split up once they reached the guest house: Kyrie and Erika staying behind at the scene of the second twilight - finding new evidence - while Rudolf and Genji went to deliver the ammo. However, once the door to the guest house was opened, Dlanor struck and killed four for the fourth twilight. Rudolf tried to fight back, to no avail, yet alerted the others to come where Erika did some questioning.
Meta Phase 3 Theories were thrown around and once again, many were shot down, but some headway was made into the murders as new evidence was revealed. Will the human side find the culprit, or will they end up accusing someone innocent? Only time will tell~! I can't wait to see if Erika makes use of her abilities since she has them again as of this meta!
Game Board Phase 4 The group moved back from the guest house to the mansion and Erika decided to barricade themselves into Krauss' bedroom and study. After what seemed like hours of nothing happening, Erika got bored and decided to leave the room and wander around a little while she waited. Around an hour or so later, she heard knocking on the door and one of the occupants asking for her to let them out. When she opened the door, she found not only was one of her sealed rooms opened, but Kanon and Jessica lay dead, a knife in Kanon's pocket.
Meta Phase 4 Many theories got thrown around this meta, and it looks like they might have enough to pin this on a suspect! Many blues and gold statements were refuted or refused, but how many more must die before our detective ends this~?
Game Board 5 / Witch's Court First twilight: The culprit was never in the room. As well as the fact that Kinzo and Battler were murdered. The Detective, Erika, established that the Whiskey had been opened, and that Genji brought it up to Kinzo. Therefore, Kinzo and Battler drank the whiskey after Genji brought it up, however, it was poisoned. Judging from the scattered chess pieces, the poison likely took effect during a game of chess between the two, causing spasms, scattering the pieces and smashing the bottle. Battler's body ended up in front of the door, holding it closed, as if it was a closed room. Since there were no signs of injuries on either of the bodies save for small bruises, poisoning is the only way they could have died!
Second Twilight: When Erika inspected the bodies of the second twilight she discovered their bodies had what appeared to be bullet wounds on them. There are only Four guns on the island. These were being held by Rosa, Eva, Hideyoshi, and myself. Hideyoshi is dead, and Rosa is Innocent So only myself or Eva could have performed the second twilight.
We wrapped up the guns, hid them in our coats, and then transferred them to Shannon's cart that held breakfast for the children, however, it wasn't clear who hid their guns inside the cart. I either didn't hide mine, or retrieved it, and left the group to kill those four, and returned. According to the TV's testimony, when Rosa arrived at the guest house, George, Lion, and either Ange or Maria had left the room, the little girl who left with George and Lion coming back with them. So George and Lion had already left.
Next, the TV's Testimony says that it only thinks two other were with Rosa, but it didn't get a good look. Therefore, those two could easily not be Kumasawa or Nanjo.
As it was stated that The culprit did not move the bodies, It's possible that Kyrie is my accomplice and moved them for me after I shot the four of them. So, the two that the TV saw with Rosa was instead Eva and Hideyoshi! After that, Kyrie and I snuck in through the back door, and rejoined the group before anyone noticed we'd gone.
Third Twilight: I actually didn't have anything to do with Shannon. Shannon's body was never found, so the body was never seen by Erika. So, I propose that Shannon are Kanon are the same person. Shannon's disappearance was in fact, her becoming Kanon, and going back to the Mansion, where Erika then saw him.
Shannon didn't leave the guest house, but her body didn't die until the 5th twilight. There were no reds confirming Shannon's death until after Kanon had died.
Fourth Twilight: There'd been many visits to the kitchen at that point, so I either grabbed one before the second twilight when the breakfast cart was being prepared, or when Myself, Kyrie and Rosa went to go get Erika and the others from the guest house. So at some point during our visits to the kitchen, I grabbed a knife.
Now, the others, being anyone who was not Kyrie, Erika, Myself, or Genji, were barricaded inside the guest house. The 4th twilight could not have occurred before Genji and I got there, because we were let in. If Eva was the culprit, we could have gotten to the guest house only to get no answer from who was watching the door, and would have had to break it down, like with the first twilight. This was not the case. The 4th twilight did not occur until Myself and Genji had been let into the Guest House.
Kyrie was under Erika's supervision during the fourth twilight, as she stayed with her to examine the bodies. So, when the barricade was cleared to let Genji and myself in, I passed off my extra ammunition, and attacked the four victims of the fourth twilight with the knife I had grabbed while they were still busy with the boxes of ammo.
Then I fired my gun to give me an excuse to reload, thought I'll admit it probably helped my story to the others that 'The witch did it and I tried to fight her off'.
Fifth Twilight: The Fifth twilight is simple. The short answer is this, even after seeing their throats cut, Erika never bothered to actually look for the knife used during the fourth twilight. I cut the tape using that, entered the study with Kanon, and stabbed him and Jessica.
All Erika saw was that the tape had been cut, and everyone, save for Kanon was in the room she left them in. However, it was an hour before she came back and we told her something had happened. So, the most troubling factor, how I would have been able to kill the two of them without everyone else in the rooms noticing is pretty simple.
Kanon died in Krauss's study, and the blood was pooling around the two victims, so Kanon wasn't injured in the bedroom and then moved. The tape was cut open so we could move between rooms, maybe so Kyrie and I could check on Maria, who Kyrie expressed some worry she might be causing trouble in the other room, and sometime during that hour Erika was missing, I stabbed both Kanon and Jessica. Once their bodies were discovered, everyone must have returned to the room they were left in.
Therefore, Rudolf Ushiromiya is the Culprit! Dlanor produces her red sword. "Rudolf Ushiromiya, you have been found guilty by this court for the murders of Battler Ushiromiya, Kinzo Ushiromiya, Lion Ushiromiya, George Ushiromiya, Nanjo Terumasa, Kumasawa Chiyo, Yasu Ushiromiya (also known as the servants Shannon and Kanon), Hideyoshi Ushiromiya, Krauss Ushiromiya, Genji Ronoue, Gohda Toshiro, and Jessica Ushiromiya. The sentence handed down by the jury is immediate execution."
Dlanor impales Rudolf with her sword and his dying body is surrounded by the goat butlers as they devour him.
In Krauss' bedroom, Erika and Rosa point their guns at Kyrie and Rudolf. "Drop the guns or we shoot!" Rosa commands and, after exchanging looks, Kyrie and Rudolf comply as Eva and Natsuhi pick up the guns. "Restrain these two and lock them in the boiler room until the storm passes." Erika suggests. "Agreed!" Natsuhi coldly replies as she holds Ange close. The family forces the two into the boiler room and tie them up to separate support beams, leaving them alone.
"Looks like that didn't go so well, eh Kyrie?" "It seems so. I told you we should've killed that bitch Erika first." "Yeah yeah, well we can't change it now."
Many hours later, the storm passes and Eva is able to call the police to the island. Upon arrival, they take Rudolf and Kyrie into custody and take the testimonies of the survivors, as well as the various bits of evidence they're able to find in and around the mansion. "What's going to happen to Maria?" Ange inquires. The officer bends down to Ange's level. "She'll be put into foster care pending her parents' trial. After that, we can release her to one of you here." He replies, before standing up. "And you're sure that's how it happened?" Natsuhi, Eva, and Rosa nod. "The evidence all pointed to them being responsible. They're the only ones that could've done it."
Erika walks by with her bathing suit in one arm and one of Rosa's old outfits. "I thank you all for your hospitality. I hope you don't mind me taking this, I wasn't about to wear a boy's clothes for the entire trip back home." She turns to the officers. "I am the one who solved this case! When we get back to the mainland, I expect to be made an official detective for this." The police officer sighs. "We already told you, we've got to talk to the bosses first. Now, will you tell us who your family is so we can take you back?" The two continue to talk as they go onto the ship, followed by the medical examiners carrying the corpses of the victims on stretchers.
The three women head back up towards the mansion with Ange following close behind. "Well that's that, I guess...but what do we do now?" Eva asks, running her fingers through her hair. "You two both lost your children, Natsuhi and I lost our husbands...." "I don't know. Maybe we should get to solving father's riddle? We're going to need the gold if we plan on paying off our debts and the funerals. I guess we can split the rest up afterwords and go our separate ways...." Rosa sighs and stops to sit in the rose garden. "I just can't believe my George is really gone...." Natsuhi and Ange sit with her and Natsuhi holds her sister-in-law close. "I know, Rosa. I don't know how we'll move on after this, but I'm sure we'll find a way."

Game Thirteen: Mockery of the Golden Witch
Erika's Victory
Gameboard Phase 1
The smell of something burning attracts the attention of the cousins, the servants, and Erika, and six bodies have been discovered. Erika investigates the murder scenes and Krauss's bedroom, and claims a Master Key as her own. She gathers everyone upstairs in the study and has gathered the testemonies of those inside the mansion. Will the players be able to pin down the murderer?
Meta Phase 1
It looks like Erika's made some pretty good headway in solving this mystery, but maybe I threw her one or two curveballs~ Will she get any farther during this phase, or will the next murders baffle everyone?
Gameboard Phase 2
While Erika goes to solve the riddle of the epitaph, two more murders happen. Natsuhi was found directly at the scene of the crime, and a few people seemed to believe she was responsible, among them Maria, who believed Natsuhi was trying to interfere with Beatrice's ceremony. Erika's heartless use of the red truth has forced her to recognize a human culprit from the beginning though! The crime scene was examined, as was Natsuhi's room, and Erika discovered an interesting contraption in Krauss's study.
Now, everyone is armed with guns; but Maria has gone missing! Is she the culprit's next victim?
Meta Phase 2
Lots of red was thrown about this phase, but has it helped the detectives narrow down the suspects? Now that they've got some idea of why the murders have occurred, will it help them figure out who the culprit is?
Gameboard Phase 3
The bodies of Jessica and Kanon are found in Jessica's room, and George's corpse is found in the courtyard. Shannon has gone missing, making her a prime suspect. While checking Jessica's room, Erika finds a blazer of Jessica's with blood on it, and blood in her sink as well. Erika's now locked the remaining humans into two rooms, ready to catch the culprit when they strike next!
Meta Phase 3
Erika seems to have figured out her culprits! All that's left is for her to accuse now!
Witch's Court Game summary:
Kinzo likely died of old age. His death was covered up by the servants, Krauss, and Natsuhi. The five victims that died during the game are another story altogether. The family was drugged by Shannon, as she was the one serving drinks during the conference. Genji possibly aided her in this, but it's not required. Nanjo let Shannon into the study when he went up with her, probably after the family was drugged. Nanjo saw his killer get the murder weapon. He and the other four victims of this twilight were all killed with the same gun! Shannon led Nanjo to the basement at gunpoint. Perhaps Shannon moved Kinzo herself. Nanjo could've been taken to the basement for the sake of leading us to the 'sixth victim' that was the already-dead Kinzo. Afterwords she killed the other four victims of the twilight as Genji moved Krauss' corpse into Natsuhi Ushiromiya's bed. The culprit dropped the study key while making that set-up with the ceramic in the bloody blanket from Krauss' bed. This blanket was used to move Krauss' corpse, by the way. As for the stolen key, perhaps one of the victims took the key for some unknown reason!
Jessica was involved in this twilight. The blood was from Genji and Kumasawa. Perhaps Jessica was just a witness to this crime and this is why she and Shannon turned on each other the next twilight. Jessica changed her own blazer and cleaned herself off during the time I was gone so as to not arouse suspicion from the family. Shannon armed herself with a knife from the serving cart and stopped off in the washroom, possibly to plot her next murders. Genji and Kumasawa entered the washroom together, but were neither sent nor lured. Genji was not murdered because he knew too much or because he had outlived his usefulness. Genji and Kumasawa walked in on Shannon, who panicked and killed them. Perhaps Genji was the one attacked first and Kumasawa second. Genji was not an intended victim at this time, if at all.
George was not the first to die. The only people not with me during this time were Natushi, Jessica, Kanon, George, Maria, and Shannon. Shannon lured the victims away and proceeded to threaten Jessica with the gun she took from Natsuhi. Natsuhi, meanwhile, was in the bathroom or perhaps her own room getting medicine for a headache. Jessica ran to her room and shot Kanon by mistake when he entered. Upon realizing what she had done, she was shot dead by Shannon, who never entered the room. Jessica's second shot hit George. Shannon dumped his body out the window when she heard us coming, having dropped the gun next to Jessica's body and ran down the other staircase into the guest room to buy time. Maria had left to cry somewhere on her own, and it's debatable if Shannon even saw her.
Shannon was in one of the guest rooms that I sealed before I did that. Shannon was not holding a gun, so Shannon's victims saw her come out of hiding and pick up a gun. Perhaps Gohda set it down, as he was hesitant to hold one earlier. The two men ran and Shannon followed. The rest of the family was alerted by the gunshots and ran out of the guest room after Shannon and her victims, save Battler and Maria, who stayed behind for some unknown reason. Perhaps they stayed behind to tell me what happened, or Battler stayed behind with Maria to keep her safe.
And end;
The golden threads binding Jessica and Shannon come to life once more, piercing them before the goats move in to devour their dying bodies. The courtroom disappears, shattering violently, and the game board reveals Natsuhi and Kyrie cornering Shannon.
"Drop the gun!" Kyrie orders.
Erika appears from behind them, Battler and Maria following her.
"I'd recommend doing what she says," Erika tells her. "There's no denying you are the culprit."
It probably takes longer than it should, but Shannon drops her gun. Kyrie ties her up and she and Erika lock her in one of the rooms, to wait for when the police will arrive. As they do, Erika details the how-dunnit.
"My only real problem was deciding if it was Shannon or Maria who was responsible, but even this level of reasoning is possible for Furudo Erika."
Natsuhi goes up to visit her daughter's room. She hadn't noticed ealier, but a diary is just out of reach of Jessica's fingertips, just underneath the bed. She picks it up, and turns to the last entry.
In it, Jessica has written about she let Shannon know that Battler was coming back this year, and when Shannon recalled his love of Murder Mysteries, they decided to prank him by setting up their own. Jessica's job would be to keep Battler in the guest house while Shannon got things set up at the mansion, and got the adults in on it so Natsuhi or Kyrie won't give away what they're up to. She talked about how they'd decided to follow the Epitaph Kinzo had posted, as it seemed to be perfectly set up for something like that. Over all, Jessica seemed rather excited about their plan.
Natsuhi drops the diary and sits on Jessica's bed, beginning to cry. Now, there was nothing to do, but wait for the storm to pass. They know it'd be time to go, when it was seagulls, and not humans who cried.

Game Fourteen: Boredom of the Golden Witch GM's Victory
The culprits are Battler Ushiromiya and the servant Shannon. How they did it was simple, really.
First Twilight The two of them saw activity in the chapel. This was Eva's group. The two waited until they could get alone, and they eventually were able to when Kanon left to return to the mansion. They ran to the chapel and got there to find Rosa's group, with the chapel door open. Shannon and Battler jumped the three victims and beat them to death. As Battler worked on hanging the three corpses, Shannon removed Kinzo's corpse from where it was hidden in the chapel. Battler ran back to the guest house after painting the door and Shannon locked the chapel and returned the key, before she herself returned. They barely had enough time to change out of their wet clothes when the family found them. They met up with Kanon along the way and found the corpses.
Second Twilight You managed to figure this out, but you had the wrong person. Shannon alone committed this twilight, using make-up to fake her own death. She fell back and got the other servants to do the same by expressing her concern over Kinzo being found and suggesting to the others that they could be in danger if they don't find somewhere safe. Battler made sure to move Shannon himself so nobody would notice that she still had a pulse, and to preserve her key.
Third Twilight Shannon, now free to move around, slipped out of the room the servants had been moved into while Battler did his part to distract the family. She surprised Hideyoshi while he was outside and killed him. She hid his corpse for later disposal, taking the gun for herself. She had taken a knife, which she had also used to kill Hideyoshi, and nearly got surprised by Eva when she came looking for her husband. Shannon stabbed her in the back and took her gun as well.
Fourth - Eighth Twilights Shannon lured Maria away and shot her at close range, hiding a ways into the forest. She took a shot when Battler and George arrived, but due to the storm obscuring her vision, she hit Battler in the shoulder by mistake. After the others ran, she fired another shot to fake Battler's death to the family, plugged the wound up, and handed Battler the other gun. They used her key to come in the servants' entrance in the back and proceeded to kill the rest of the family. Later, they moved Maria inside and begun to stake the corpses. Afterwords, Battler and Shannon planted diary pages around the mansion, guest house, and chapel (again using the key) in order to make a mystery to buy time for their escape.
Ninth Twilight I'm sure you've already figured this out, but this twilight never happened. Battler and Shannon went to the gold vault, the entrance of which was located in the basement, and took some gold bars for their new life together. Battler made one last diary page and threw it into the ocean, knowing that someone would find it eventually. The only thing they didn't account for was the explosion, which destroyed many of the pages, knocked some trees over (one of which broke open a barred window in the chapel), and destroyed more than a few corpses. Battler and Shannon escaped before this, however, when the storm calmed down enough for them to take a boat off the island.

Game Sixteen: Fate of the Golden Witch Player Victory Yasu intended to spin the witchs' roulette tonight.
Shanon killed Nanjo, Kumasawa, and Gohda, and desposed of Kinzo's corpse while getting rid of her own bloodied uniform and changing into Kanon as she and Kanon are the same person. She set the explosives and locked the door the the incinerator.
However, Erika woke, and pushed Rosa down the stairs. She came across Kanon and killed him with the knife he's used to kill the servants.
Then she went back upstairs.
After being checked on, she clubbed Krauss over the head and shot Jessica, escaping before she could be seen and faking her death upstairs, knowing she would be checked on.
She shot the four people outside, and the the explosives Yasu set finished everyone else off.
Therefore, even though they weren't working together, Erika and Shannon/Yasu are the culprits!
1984, Rokkenjima. Sayo Yasuda has been discreetly working as a servant for the past few years as Shannon. However, this year is different. Kinzo Ushiromiya created the Riddle of the Epitaph, and Sayo went about solving it in her time off. She succeeds.
Upon finding the gold, she is confronted by Genji who tells her of her origin as the child of incest between Kinzo and his illegitimate daughter, Beatrice. Disgusted...doesn't do her reaction justice. She refuses to meet with her father and keeps living on as a servant so she can cleanse the sinful blood of Kinzo from this world. Over the next few months, Sayo poisons his food and drink until he dies. That done, she sets out to begin planning the rest of the deaths, for Kinzo's filthy blood still yet lived.
October, 1986. After years of planning, she's got everything set up and the other servants - except for Gohda, who she didn't trust in the slightest - in on it. While the family is busy with the conference and for the unforeseen variable of a girl washing up on the island, Sayo set everything into motion. She went to the gold room and set the bomb after the cousins fell asleep; Sayo forgot all about George's request, but oh well. After this, she went back and changed into Kanon to move Kinzo's body. She thought it strange that the other servants weren't around, but oh well.
However, as she was returning from the cellar, but before she could lock it, she heard someone behind her. Panicking, she turned and saw...the girl who washed up on the island...wearing Shannon's uniform. Sayo walked up the stairs to talk to the girl and ask why she was in Shannon's uniform; she didn't even register that it was covered in blood until Erika Furudo drove the knife into her chest. "Just die, Furniture."
Erika had been busy. After waking up, practically naked (thanks to Kumasawa), she began to wander the mansion, looking for someone to kill. Why? Because I told her to, that's why; Erika really needs no other motive. Kumasawa was the first to go. Erika used a knife from the serving cart, but after getting blood on her she decided she needed to get something to cover herself with; looking around, she found Shannon's uniform hidden on the cart. Next was Nanjo, then Genji, and then finally Kanon. As she made her way back upstairs, the uniform now covered in the blood of her victims, she spied Rosa making her way downstairs. She and Rosa encountered each other by the grand staircase and, unfortunately for Erika, Rosa registered the blood a lot faster than Sayo did. Rosa had to die, but Erika had no weapon anymore, so she shoved Rosa down the stairs and as her neck quite obviously broke, Erika returned to her room, as she heard other people coming. Erika left the uniform on so she wouldn't have to hide it in the room and risk it being found.
Erika waited for the group to leave before she peeked out of her room. She saw they were gone, so she looked around for her clothes. She recalled that they had been soaked, so she figured they would be somewhere warm. In all her earlier wanderings, she found no furnaces, so she went to the basement to see if there was a furnace there. She found the boiler and her clothes nearby. Lucky for her that Sayo never locked that door. She heard the group coming back after she'd come back upstairs and, in a panic, looked for a hiding place. She found a room nearby that had been left unlocked and hid in there, locking the door.
Krauss and Jessica had broken off from the others. Erika, sensing an opportunity, brained Krauss with a heavy candlestick that she'd found in the room she hid in. Taking his gun, she shot Jessica dead and then ducked back into that room, locking the door again. When she was comfortable that the family had left again, she came out of her hiding place and tried to go back to her room to feign unconsciousness again, but there was a problem. The family found her room empty.
Erika started to throw a fit once the family was in the study. "Dammit! How am I supposed to kill them all when they're in a group?! They weren't supposed to find me missing!" After a little while, having pouted herself out, she went to the kitchen to get something to eat. She didn't realize she'd grown so hungry thanks to the adrenaline, which had worn off by now. She made herself a large meal and ate it in the kitchen. Not long after cleaning up the scene, she heard the family coming again. She hid in a nearby cabinet and watched Battler and Genji linger behind the others. An opportunity presenting itself, she sneaked out of her hiding place and followed them. Battler spied her after he and Genji got outside and she shot him with Krauss' gun before he could say anything. Genji reacted and managed to move enough for her to not hit the mark she went for, but she must have hit his femoral artery, judging by the spray of blood that got on her clothes. She grabbed Battler's ammo and ran, since she heard the others coming.
She reloaded her gun some before taking two potshots. She got lucky, she actually hit them from that distance! However, she got pointed out and two others who had guns made their way towards her. She ran some distance so they wouldn't overtake her, and as she raised her gun to fire again, Rudolf responded in kind. However, before she even got the chance, Sayo's final curse reared its ugly head as the mansion grounds and a good chunk of the surrounding area were consumed in an explosion that left no survivors. Game Sixteen-and-a-Half: Fate of the Golden Witch (part 2) Player Victory
How about this then? Corrin and Azura did it. The reasons for why are unimportant, so I'll probably skim over that. Anyway, the first murder is easy. They were the ones who drowned Elise; whether they worked together (and it counts) or not isn't important either. They were found at the scene, and they waited until she died to pretend to have found her drowned in the koi pond.
Next, Sakura, Takumi, and Camilla. Corrin probably wouldn't have attacked her siblings, but there's no telling. However, she is probably the stronger of the two so she could have overpowered them. Azura strangled Camilla, then met up with the rest of her group to "go look for Camilla". Corrin managed to slip away from Mikoto and Ryoma long enough to kill Sakura and Takumi. She surprised Takumi with the knife and then killed Sakura before managing to meet back up with her group. It's likely that this happened while the library was being investigated; after all, it's easy to ditch someone in a library. The second floor can only be accessed from the west wing, where Corrin had been. The library is in the middle-back, so Azura could kill Camilla and go meet with Xander and Garon afterwards.
The final set of murders went as thus: Corrin's outburst was fake. She wanted to throw suspicion off of herself. Corrin and Azura wanted to be able to break off from the others in order to move and kill their next targets, however they ended up barred into that room with the rest of the group. The moment the trio left, the two killers sprang into action. They incapacitated Hinoka and Mikoto before attacking Garon and Xander. Corrin probably didn't want to kill her mother, but she was probably forced to in order to get the knife back. Alternatively, she and Hinoka were merely rendered unconscious and moved elsewhere.
The final murders, I'll leave as above with the exception that the body was either Corrin or Azura. It's also possible that the two turned on each other, and the one who died at the furnace had been gravely injured and died after putting the book into the furnace.
The hint to start making others suspicious, was that only Corrin and Azura mentioned them being cousins. Yet none of either of Corrin's or Azura's other 'siblings' seemed to make note of that. In other words, Corrin and Azura have a connection that no one else, with the exception of perhaps Mikoto, has. For the ease of the players unfamiliar with this setting, I removed the other attempts to hint that there was a third force at work; it was related to the whydunnit, and this game really just looks at the who.
Before the summit took place but after it had been agreed upon where it would be held, a knife was planted into the Koi pond. Elise was unlucky enough to come across Corrin and Azura fishing it out, and the two had no choice to deal with her. Unsure if they could dry off in time without running into anyone, they decide that the best course of action is to pretend that they discovered the body.
Azura comes up with the idea of searching different rooms in order to hunt down Camilla and Leo. She tracks and kills Camilla in the Library, but is unable to catch up with Leo before he makes it back to the group. Mikoto, Ryoma, and Corrin discover Camilla, and, while Ryoma and Mikoto watch at the door to the east wing for the others to arrive, Corrin sneaks into the west wing and intercepts Takumi and Sakura as they arrive to kill them.
Finally, after Xander, Ryoma and Leo leave to get supplies, Azura and Corrin strike to try and take out Mikoto, Garon, and Hinoka. It takes them a bit longer to get the knife from Mikoto, so they don't finish until they can hear the footsteps of the three returning from outside. Luckily the barricade holds, and once they hear the three leave, Azura and Corrin quickly move the bodies.
Finally they look to kill Xander, Ryoma and Leo and destroy the evidence. Realizing he can't get away as the flames begin to spread, Leo manages to hide his journal in the one place he can think of that it will survive. He's killed not long after he's done this. Once the barrier dispels though, Corrin and Azura are indeed able to get away.

Game Eighteen: Legacy of the Golden Witch The family goes through the newly-opened doors and down the stairs to find another large set of doors. Painted on them, in red, are the words “On the eleventh twilight, the journey shall end, and you shall reach the capital where the gold dwells!” and the doors are ajar. “I think that settles that.” George comments, adjusting his glasses. Eva pushes to the front and opens the doors, going in first with her gun drawn. Past the doors is a room with a canopy bed, and a pallet of gold ingots. Then, Eva notices Krauss on the floor, in a pool of blood, and a woman sitting at the foot of the bed. “Welcome, Ushiromiya family!” The woman exclaims loudly. “You made it just in time, it seems. A shame, I was mere moments from completing my ritual, too.” The woman chuckles, and Eva aims her gun at her. “Shut up! Who are you?! What are you really after? The gold?” The family enters the room and stands behind Eva. Before the woman can answer, however, Eva feels a sharp pain in the back of her head and the sensation of falling before everything goes black.
Some time later, Eva regains consciousness. Her head hurt like hell, but she was able to get to her feet. She’d landed on her brother’s body, and she noticed a few things once her mind started to come back to her. First, Krauss’ skull was crushed in. Second, the blood was dry and he was ice cold. Third, an ingot she’d missed before was laying next to him with more dried blood on it. Wait. The woman! Where did she- Before Eva could finish her thought, though, she saw the object of her search and more. Scattered around her feet are the bodies of Jessica, George, Rosa, and Maria. Jessica has a large hole in her head. George has been shot in the chest three times. Maria is laying in Rosa’s lap, her head twisted at a strange angle; half of Rosa’s head is missing. The woman from before is lying on the bed, and when Eva makes her way over there, stumbling and swaying the entire way, she can get a better look at this mystery woman. The woman, who so resembles the big portrait now that Eva’s had a better look, has a hole in her forehead and there’s a huge splatter on the headboard. Eva looks around the room, but doesn’t see Natsuhi or the missing servants anywhere. Curious. Turning her attention back to the woman on the bed, Eva can see that this woman is wearing a blonde wig. There’s a hint of brown hair underneath, but before Eva can further investigate, a clock nearby strikes midnight. Then, nothing.
October 4th and 5th, 1986, on Rokkenjima Island, the Ushiromiya family gathered for their annual conference, but this year is different. This year ends in tragedy. For many years, legends abounded of the witch who was said to rule the island after dark. Servants told tales of encounters with this witch for a long time, indeed. This year, the witch Beatrice began a ritual in order to revive herself into this world once and for all. The family was systematically sacrificed to the witch as laid out in the Epitaph that Kinzo had left as a challenge. One by one, the family was killed by the witch’s magic. Not a single person on Rokkenjima during the conference that year returned alive. The island was ravaged, to the point that even the mansion was destroyed. Ange, the youngest member of the family, was the sole survivor, by virtue of having been sick that year. This tale of death, magic, and despair, as propagated by the surviving servants - who had been off those days - and mysterious message bottles are the only Legacy that the Ushiromiya family has left: the Golden Witch’s Legacy lives on today, without anyone around to provide any other explanation.
